greeting..please help me with my condition..firstly sorry for my bad English...on 2/4/2012 i went to massage parlours, and this Thai girl gave me a blowjob without a condom, really freaked me out. But then, on 12/6/2012 I had myself tested with ELISA, and the result was nonreactive, almost 10 weeks after that, do i consider free from the virus?

Getting a blowjob is one of the most common of sexual activities. In the entire history of the epidemic no man has ever been confirmed to have been infected that way.

It's safe to say you are not going to make history by becoming the first.

You are worrying unnecessarily. The only confirmed risks for the sexual transmission of HIV are unprotected vaginal and anal intercourse. As long as you properly use condoms for those activities you will be well protected. It is really that simple.

You have NOT had a risk and you do not need further testing. You do NOT have hiv.

A test any time following a blowjob will be conclusive because getting a blowjob, with or without a condom is NOT a risk for hiv infection. Not only is saliva not infectious, but it also contains over a dozen different proteins and enzymes that damage hiv and render it unable to infect.

There have been three long-term studies of couples where one is positive and one is negative. In the couples who used condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, but no barrier for oral activities, not one of the negative partners became infected with hiv. Not one.

Here's what you need to know in order to avoid hiv infection:

You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for ALL sexually transmitted infections together.

To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with an STI. Sex without a condom lasts only a matter of minutes, but hiv is forever.

Have a look through the condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use condoms with confidence.

ALTHOUGH YOU DO NOT NEED FURTHER HIV TESTING AT THIS TIME, anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.

If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results.

Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv. Some of the other STIs can be present with no obvious symptoms, so the only way to know for sure is to test.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!

ello guys..its me again..sorry to bother you all.. i cannot keep this in away out of my mind.. i just tested negative 15/6/2012, but until now i kept getting all the ars symptoms..for your additional info, last year, i had a few unprotected intercourse,the last exposure was around august, i read from the internet about the late seroconversion..it keep me thinking that i gonna get infection..please help me...

Again, getting a blowjob is NOT a risk for hiv infection.

You are conclusively hiv negative.

The only people who might take a little longer to seroconvert and test positive are those on chemotherapy for cancer, on anti-rejection drugs following organ transplant, or people who have been injecting street drugs, every day, for years. Even these people will normally test positive by three months.

Your last risk happened nearly a year ago. If you had been infected, you would have tested positive on the 15th, not negative.

YOU DO NOT HAVE HIV!!!

You can not get HIV from a blowjob.

Neither symptoms nor the lack of symptoms will ever tell you a single thing about your hiv status. ONLY testing will and you tested hiv negative. You don't have hiv!

If you feel unwell, see a doctor. Whatever is going on has NOTHING to do with hiv. You have ruled hiv out of the picture, so go find out what is actually causing your problems.

sorry guys, just want to know what kind of drug that will extend the window period, bcoz i read from this forum that certain drug will extend the time..

Longterm intravenous drug use can extend the window period to 6 months.

If you come back again about your non-risk situation you are going to get  a Time Out. Consider yourself warned.
