Improve your writing skill tips

Hi all!
I just thought that since for some of us English is not our mother tongue, these tips might come in handy when preparing our texts :-*

If I follow all these rules..I'll get bored after having written two sentences...I'll keep using my basic English and should do the trick as long as I'm being understood.  :o

Crap, that just hurts my brain.... If you can even just get a general to semi-marginal idea of what I am talking about, I am happy. :)

Jan,
I know what you mean!  I looked up the word "alliteration" in the dictionary and can alliteratively affirm that I didn't understand it!  I just thought it was funny the way the guy prepared his list of so-called tips...!

Val,

That list is a well known "office humour" article that's been doing the rounds of the internet (and workplace tea rooms) for years now.

It's actually quite clever.

I LOVE a split infinitive. It is to die for. For it is, rather, for to die.

:)

Matty,
Not only has it been around for years now, but it has been translated into more than 100 languages!  Even in Pascuense ;)  Still,  I think it is funny.
