Kindly help and suggest last time...accuracy after 97 days?

Anybody please help and suggest......
I am male from India, I had unprotected oral and protected vaginal intercourse in the mid of july with a female of unknown status , after 2-3 weeks I had on and off rashes on the chest, under armpit and stomach,low grade fever also my immunity gone down as I was tensed and stressed after that I had swollen lymp nodes with itching under armpit and then mouth ulcer.I had HIV Elisa Test exactly after 74 days of exposer, result came back Non reactive with the cut off value 0.9.So I had Western Blot test exactly after 85 days result Negative. but  Now its almost 4 and half month but still I have heavy sweating and ithching under armpit and my digestive system is also disturb, sometime burning and ithching in Anul Area.I m worried as one of surgeon told me Window period for some people last for 54 weeks and you will not get in google as this is practical i m telling. This makes me more worried and I am unable to keep physical relation with my wife due to worry as I dnt want her to get punished because of me and due to which my relations with my wife is getting worse day by day.Please suggest what shall I do.whats your opinion Please do reply please please..Its humble and sincere request.

It's no surprise that you tested hiv negative - you did NOT have a risk for hiv infection.

Getting a blowjob is not a risk for hiv infection, and protected intercourse is just that - protected.

There have been three long-term studies of couples where one is positive and one is negative. In the couples who used condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, but no barrier for oral activities, not one of the negative partners became infected with hiv. Not one.

If you continue to feel unwell, see a doctor. Whatever is going on has NOTHING to do with hiv.

You do NOT have hiv.

Here's what you need to know in order to avoid hiv infection:

You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for ALL sexually transmitted infections together.

To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with an STI. Sex without a condom lasts only a matter of minutes, but hiv is forever.

Have a look through the condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use condoms with confidence.

ALTHOUGH YOU DO NOT NEED TO TEST SPECIFICALLY OVER PROTECTED INTERCOURSE OR ORAL, anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.

If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results.

Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv. Some of the other STIs can be present with no obvious symptoms, so the only way to know for sure is to test.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am married but separated Male from India need your help for the following.

1) I had unprotected vaginal sex with a unknown female on 15th June-2012 and
2) Protected Vaginal and unprotected Oral with other female on 10 th July-2012.

After some days i had rashes on my chest,under armpits then swollen lympnodes under armpit,low grade fever,sometime diarrhoea and also mouth ulcer almost all the ARS symptoms.


I had Elisa HIV 1 & 2 Test on 21st September,exactly after 97 days from 1st exposer and 72 days after 2nd exposer.Result cameback Negative with cut off value 0.9.

I also had Western blot Test exactly after 110 days from 1st exposer and 84 days from 2nd exposer.
Result came back Negative.

But now my wife is coming back to me and i am worried as one of my surgeon told me the window period may last for 54 weeks.

Respected Sir/Madam,i want to start happy life with my wife and dnt want her to get punished because of my wrong deeds.


KINDLY SUGGEST AND HELP ME WHAT SHALL I DO? My immunity is going down day by day..I m not so fit as iwas earlier....... kindly reply as earliest possible.

You never mentioned the incident of unprotected intercourse when you first posted here back in November. However, you are conclusively hiv negative and the doctor who told you that you need further testing is ill-informed.

The vast majority of people who have actually been infected will seroconvert and test positive by six weeks, with the average time to seroconversion being only 22 days.

A six week negative must be confirmed at the three month point, but is highly unlikely to change. This is true of all tests available in the world today - including in your country.

It sounds as though this is all guilt-driven because you had sex with someone other than your wife. Guilt does not cause hiv - unprotected anal or vaginal intercourse does.

And by the way, hiv is NOT a punishment. It's just a virus.

You are conclusively hiv negative. You do NOT have hiv!
