Hi Cob,

We seem to have missed your thread. I'm sorry about that.

Unprotected vaginal dipping is really not a risk for HIV transmission. HIV is a fragile virus that is difficult to transmit, particularly from female to male during vaginal sex. I don't see a pressing need for HIV testing in this case, but if you're concerned you should arrange to be tested 13 weeks from the date of this particular encounter.

The problem with unprotected dipping (anal, vaginal or otherwise) is that it can lead to unprotected fucking which is most certainly a risk for HIV transmission. You should bear this in mind when next you hook up with someone.

There is indeed a chance you might not be infected.

Unprotected anal sex is certainly a risk for HIV transmission. Though the risk to an insertive partner from a positive receptive partner less than the other way around.

That isn't a risk for HIV infection.

I agree with Matty. Testing for you would be strictly for your peace of mind if you need that inevitable negative result to move on.

Learn from this experience. Keep the condoms handy and use them for both vaginal and anal intercourse. Everytime with no exceptions.
