This is weird... Taliban planting HIV Bombs.

And Disgusting...

Apparently the Taliban are burying used syringes with the needle pointing up around IEDs's in an attempt to infect British Bomb Squad experts.

But I'm wondering where the Taliban is getting "hiv" infected needles and how they know they are HIV infected? I also wonder if the HIV in a syringe would remain viable in a syringe left out in the desert for days at a time????

Hepatitis might stand a chance, but they're out of their tiny little minds if they think that tactic will infect anyone with hiv. ::)

Yeah I think they got it from Bin Laden.  I can't reveal my sources, but I've been told that 9/11 happened the day after Bin Laden got turned down by ADAP in Miami.  If anyone ask who you heard this from do not mention my name.

You don't have to go all the way to afghanistan.  Come to lovely peaceful Bern.  Seems around 2005 a crazy unlicensed acupuncturist infected at least 19 people - yes this is how many seroconversions have been traced to him.  And not by the "needles" of the trade, it seems he may have directly injected from a syringue.  Want more central European weirdness - the guy walks free today, the authorities don't know if he is himself HIV or where he got the supply which was used over a few years, and because its all just coming to light and there have been no more infections since the mid naughts AND he hasn't been tried yet.  Its one big urban nightmare come to life.

It's a pretty weak claim. Is there any more data than this?  Otherwise, it looks like just an inconsiderate assumption on some reporters part. . .
