I saw my cardiologist
« on: January 21, 2011, 03:26:52 pm »
He gave me the obligatory speech about smoking after my heart attack last year.  He also told me that I have blockage building in my other artery.  When I said I am under stress he said that I don't know what stress is. He is a heart doctor and has to save lives every day so my life can never be as stressful as his.

BULLSHIT.

I have had an entire group of homophobes and closet cases turn against me and they have had people I've know for many years turn against me. They won't look at me. They won't talk to me.

These assholes, because of one closet case, has cut me off from so many people.

My Cardiologist doesn't know what stress is!!!!

Sorry to bother you all.

I know that noone cares about me. But who are you to judge me! I've been victimized for over 15 years by my manager and another employee. I didn't pick him for a job opening. I re-created his reports in my system.

Now he has reached out and used a closeted gay man (24 YO) to victimize me. My life is over. I have no purpose to live any more.

Let me be the first to say it, go back and read the previous replies that we all sent you.  I'm starting to feel like the victim for continuously reading this driffle.

You know, lforsyth, I'm generally a caring sort...but I have to say:

If you behave in any fashion similar to the one you display here, I probably wouldn't speak to you or look at you either.

It's one nonstop pity party with you - and as far as I am concerned, YOU are the abusive one...because you continually subject everyone to this incessant whining without EVER attempting to do something about your situation.  In fact, you completely disregard any posts that make an effort to help you.

You keep trying to manipulate everyone into making endless, "No, you're wonderful!  We DO CARE!" posts.

I'm flat sick of it.  This will be the last post I bother to make on the matter.

Larry, it's starting to become insulting the way  you keep ignoring all the replies your woe-is-me threads get but yet keep complaining that nobody cares about you.

It's pretty apparent to everyone but you that plenty of people here care about you - but you do not seem to care about any of us as you refuse to acknowledge the time and effort people take to respond to you.

It's wearing pretty thin.

Dear Larry,

If you are as painful In Real Life as you are on these forums, it's no wonder people give you a hard time. I have little doubt that the interpersonal difficulties that seem to plague your beige days are almost entirely of your own manufacture.

Which is fine. If that's how you wanna go through life, knock yerself out. Considering that you're 60+ years of age, I see little chance of you changing what are, no doubt, the finely honed habits of one tedious lifetime.

But spare a thought for the rest of us, why not? If you're unwilling to help yourself why don't you put the rest of us out of your misery?

I'm sure there's eleventy-squillion places on the internet where professional victims gather to indulge themselves in bilious self-pity. Why don't you look them up? If you don't find anything to your liking you could always start your own little corner of Web Based Wallowing. http://kvetching-nebbishes.com seems to be free.

Larry, you need professional help and I hope you will see someone, anyone to help you through this issue.  However, until you do that, I suggest that other forum members, no longer reply to your posts, until you demonstrate that you are helping yourself and that means an end to these insensitive posts.  You come here, blaming other people for your life and while asking for pity here, you actually insult the very people, who try and help, by claiming that nobody likes you.  Given what I have read from you, I can understand why.

NOBODY can help you, if you refuse to help yourself.  So either get a grip, or stop posting these diatribes.  They are unwarranted and insensitive and they need to stop now.  How can you ever expect other people to respect you, when you have no respect for yourself?  Get help now.

I agree Joe -
Please give yourself a gift Larry and go talk with a professional -

Also, I think that these repetitive posts should either be combined or put int the Mental Health topic area -

Also, I know that when people constantly post in the AM I thread there is a cut off point - after they are warned - as we the mods are not able to deal with mental health issues over there - or other obsessive issues regarding possible infection ----

Perhaps there needs to be that type of policy and/or disclaimer in regards to posts such as this --- it is is difficult line to distinguish - but at the same time, I really feel that Larry is not seeking the help he actually needs and instead is posting repetitively in "off topic" about what basically is the same issue and appears to be mental health related.

Back to Larry - Larry, if you take care of your physical health, by taking your meds, getting your labs done  and seeing a cardiologist - why don't you put the same importance and priority into taking care of your mental health ---- please - (I had only posted a response one other time in your other thread and this will be the only time I post in this one) ---- Get yourself to a professional - even if you check into the hospital for a few days to get some care, observation, and perhaps a better perspective on the fact that people do care - but we are limited in what we can do.

Continuing to smoke after having a heart attack, doesn't sound like a good thing.  Regardless of who has more stress you or your doctor, you probably should look into options that will help you stop smoking.

Thank You All!Of course the people who have turned people away from don't have a problem. I have to get counseling.  When I was being victimized in 1995 my manager said it's this way everywhere and I had to learn to live with it.

So, you believe in victimizing others?

Forget about me, all of you.  I don't want to know you at all!

If this is what you want Larry then stop posting, if you don't want to know any of us, don't communicate with us...it's really quite simple, but I still say you need help from a specialist.

Don't say people here didn't try.

I tried to "give a damn" ,  but obviously you've ignored the private message that I had sent you.

At this point, disregard the message I sent, and I wish you the best in life.  Get some help Larry, and try to reclaim your life, and get it back on track.

You are all self righteous.Turning on my like the people at work. Now I know what it feels like to be totally victimized.

It's easy for you to put me down. I've been victimized since 1990. But you don't want to know my story. You just jump in there and join in on victimizing me too.

You are becoming quite scary and mighty tedious.  We have paid far too much attention to these abusive diatribes and nonsense.

If it weren't coz I find the ignore function to be a tool for the pansies you would actually find yourself being my first "ignoree" in history.  I will simply choose to mark your threads as read from this point on.

Find yourself some professional help outside this forum; evidently whatever we've said to you has had no meaning or value.

I dunno, but I think you LOVE being a victim, I mean, after 21 yrs. (1990 is how long that is)  maybe you should try Yoga, or at the very least find someone that's as JADED and MISERABLE as you seem to be, Larry, you know, life is just to short, and 21 yrs. is a very long time to go without some type of professional help  ::)

This has gone on way too long Larry.  They are not making a victim of you they are attempting to offer you their advice on what you can do to better your situation.  You don't like what's being said and so you are taking it as an attack against you.  This is not the case and you are not a victim here.  Regardless of what you may think.  These are not unprovoked baseless attacks, but attempts to offer you advice to seek the help that it is so obvious that you need.  This is the last I'll post on this subject because you seem to have your mind made up on the matter and if that is the case then so be it, but please stop asking for help if you refuse to utilize the advice you've been given by literally everyone who has responded to this thread.

I'm pleasantly surprised by the continued outpouring of support.
