HIV Positive couple.

hi there

am new to the forum , couple months ago i was tested and i was HIV Positive , i got infected by my wife who also is an HIV Positive when we went for CD4 test her result stand at 674 and my Cd4 877 , i was wondering if we can stilll having unprotected sex together after all . please kindly advise me what to do . as we have our baby girl who is 3years  now and she is HIV negative , we continue to live our life normal as a couple any advise will be welcome.

Its safe for you and your wife to have unprotected sex as long as you are std free for all other stds other than HIV and in an exclusively monogamous relationship . Some stds can be a bugger to get rid of when you are HIV positive and they tax your immune system and are to be avoided ... as if I have to tell you that LOL . 

If your wife was the one that exposed you to HIV you both share the same virus and you do not need to worry over it now . 

I moved your thread into just the I tested poz forum , the AM I Infected forum is for risk assessments only for new exposures and not for us already living with HIV .
