Just a quick question...
I will be asking this question of my doctor as I like to know as general information about HIV, however anyone would care to share anything you might now that would be great. I think I already know my answer.
Say person A has HIV and the strain that this person has is resistant to a certain drug, If person A infects another person with the virus does this person also have the same resistance to the same drugs?

From my understanding it is possible. But, your doc may want to do additional tests to determine if you have a drug resistance.

Thanks for reply. I have a drug resistance. I was just wonder if I pass the virus to someone else if they would also have the same resistance...
