Please help - been worried all weekend.

First and foremost, what a great forum.
I shall keep this brief, as I am sure you all very busy.
I met a guy on Friday and ended up back at his. We got naked, mutual masturbation, anal fingering, and rubbing ourselves against each other. I take it that all of these are no risk for HIV. My concerns are these:

1.) At one point he sat on top of me and tried to put my penis in him. As soon I realised what was happening, I moved away. I believe this is called dipping. I am not sure if it entered, but in seconds I moved my penis away. He said he was HIV negative and just wanted to see if it fit. I told him this type of behaviour is extremely risky and I would never have sex without condoms. My question is would I test HIV negative over this situation.

2.) Later we were hugging naked and he put his fingers in my anus. It was really tight as I have never had anal sex. He spat on his fingers and inserted them again and he got quite deep and it hurt so I said remove them. My fear is that because I was facing my back to him, could I ever mistake fingers for his penis? It does sound ridiculous but paranoia is a crazy thing.

I have rang him. He said he tested two months ago and that we never had any sex just fooled about. He says he is happy to go for tests again. I will test at four weeks but from what I have said what is the likelihood of the result?

Nothing you mentioned was a risk, fingering, rubbing, jerking off, spitting is not a risk.

You tell me ? Look if you entered him or him you with your penises its was a risk, no matter how shallow or brief.

If you are unsure test in 6 & 13 weeks post incident and than move on with your life.


Here's what you need to know in order to avoid hiv infection:
Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, every time, no exceptions.

Keep in mind that some sexual practices which may be described as ‘safe’ in terms of HIV transmission might still pose a risk for transmission of other STI's, so please do get fully tested regularly and at least yearly for all STI's including but not limited to HIV and test more frequently if unprotected intercourse occurs

Also note that it is possible to have an STI and show no signs or symptoms and the only way of knowing is by testing.

It either was a risk or was not a risk, if you penetrated him, it was a risk otherwise it simply was not.
