Herpes on her lips , cut on penis - blowjob risk
« on: May 23, 2017, 06:02:46 am »
Dear Friends

Iv been scared and in the grips of anxiety/depression over an incident. Iv almost lost my job, iv lost my appetite and all my will. I need some guidance from experts on what to do-

On a work trip to germany, i went for a massage one day. The lady offered me a happy ending massage - I agreed and thought it would be only a hand job. I had closed my eyes. Suddenly though i felt different and I saw that she was giving me a blowjob. It was an unprotected blowjob which probably lasted 20 seconds because i told her to stop as soon as i saw this. She then kissed me to try to calm me down. I noticed that SHE HAD A COLD SORE on her lips. Unfortunately i also realised that as i had shaved my pubes the same morning , I also had a cut on my foreskin. I am not circumsiced.

I went to a private clinic the next day. The he doctor sold me PEPs worth 2000 Euros. He said the chance of acquiring HIV through oral is small and hence the choice is of the patient if he wants to take PEP or not. I took the PEP for 28 days.

At week 7 post exposure i developed cold sores on my lips. Iv had cold sores before and the local doctor said its probably recurrent  herpes caused by the stress. At the same time I also got a lesion on my penis but i think it was caused by my nails/ my wife’s nails . It healed in 4 days. Iv seen marks like that before but i can’t be sure.

At 8 weeks post exposure / 4 weeks post pep i got a duo hiv test - negative.

At week 6 post exposure i tested negative for clymadia, syphilis and Gonorrhea.

My question is

Does the combination of her Cold Sore and the small cut on my penis put me at risk of HIV ? Do i need further testing ?

Please help me . I am very confused . My life has come to a complete standstill. My family has abandoned me for telling the truth. I know i made a mistake  . I really need some guidance

Hi

So she had herpes, you had a cut and she sucked you.

It simple there hasn’t been a single documented case of HIV transmission to an insertive partner (the person being "sucked") and you will not be the first, and the reason is its not a risk after 35 years and millions of cases and studies trust me we understand the risks. Salvia is not HIV infectious, and it does not transfer or transmit outside the human body.

If you ever did get infected with HIV it was from nothing you posted here

Herpes is a contact virus, skin to skin or sore. It's speed through viral shredding.
HIV is not and does not. End of story.

Nothing you mentioned was ever remotely a hiv risk, move on with your life.

Edit: You already had herpes before this bj. She did not give you herpes as you already had it its a life long infection. Move on!

Dear Jim

Thank you for your reply. It feels good to have someone who has spoken to me because in the last two months my family has completely abandoned me because i decided to tell the truth on the first day itself. I guess its the punishment that i deserve.

Thank you also for telling me the facts about my Case

Quick clarifications if you have some more time

1. My fear was if some blood from her sore / mouth came in touch with my cut ? Wouldn't that pose a problem ? ALTHOUGH I DID NOT SEE ANY BLOOD .

2. It seems clear to me that the private clinic sold me PEPs which weren't fully warranted. A second doctor told me it was completely unethical and unwarranted. I spent 2000 euros on this. I could have given the money to someone who needed it more than i did.

Given your opinion (which i really respect) that I had no risk from the event above - can i stop my HIV testing and try to move on ? ( I tested last at 4 weeks post pep)

Also, I would like to donate to your organisation. Is there a way to do so ?

I would agree personally with the 2nd doctor.
Most doctors no longer prescribe pep to people who had no risk and are just paranoid or irrationally fearful over no risk situations.

Nothing you mentioned is a risk for HIV, it has never been transmitted this way or the way you fear biologically does not meet the basic transmission needs for hiv to infect.

Please don't ask about this again.
Move on with your life, use condoms for intercourse and test yearly for STI's and HIV as routine.
