My story as below:

On Sep. 27&28,2007,I have twice sex with comdom and a oral sex.According to what you reverted,i think these actions are safe.

On Feb.5,2008,i had a protected sex with sex worker and have been give a blowjob unprotected.I suppose this is safe too.

But I still wish to get your confirmation.I need check?Self-check is proper and accurate? Thanks.

You do not need to be tested for HIV. You were not at risk. HIV is not transmitted through protected sex or getting a blowjob.

By the way, a "jackaroo" is an Australian cowboy. :)

Thank you Matty. As I expect, you give me a confirmation.I feel better now.But I have another question.I consult local CDC,and they tell me that there is a low risk by oral sex. Is there any international common standard?

If test is needed, local doctor suggest that test should be performed in 6 weeks. But i review your reply,I think you stick to 13 weeks?why?

By the way, thanks for your correct. As you feel,I am poor in english.

In the entire epidemic there has never been a confirmed case of transmission to a man through getting a blowjob. It's safe to say that you are not going to make history by becoming the first. As far as what you were told by some CDC operator, they are just covering themselves. It's strictly theoretical that transmission could happen that way. In the real world of HIV it hasn't happened and it isn't going to. There is no need for testing in relation to this incident.

We do advise anyone who's sexually active to have a full STD panel regularly -- at least annually. And an HIV done at 13 weeks after a risky incident such as intercourse without a condom is sufficient to get a reliable result.

However, nothing you have reported has put you at risk.

Cheers

Thank you Andy,I think you are right,I will go back to normal living.Thank you everyone.

Another topic i want to learn is whether one person will be affirmatively infected through a unprotected sex. When both have no clear breakage on skin, nobody can be infected. Is that right? Is it necessary to exchange body fluid for a infection?

thank you for your reply

Leo,

HIV is transmitted through:

    Unprotected vaginal sex
    Unprotected anal sex
    Sharing contaminated injecting equipment

HIV is not transmitted through skin-to-skin contact, it is transmitted inside the body.

Leo,

Whatever is making you ill, it is not HIV. Getting a blowjob is not a risk. You do not have HIV.

And now everything that happens to you physically seems as if it's another something for you to misinterpret as HIV-related. As Matty has told you, you were not at risk. If you have physical concerns discuss them with your doctor. This is not an HIV situation. Period. End of story.

Hi,Mtd,Andy,

To calm down my mind,I still have a test by myself.I used Diagnostic Kit for Antibody to Human Immunodefciency Virus(HIV1/2) to check and the result is NEGATIVE.I think,at least,I can exclude the possibility to be infected at first time.Is that right? Entire excluding need to further test in 8 weeks?

Thank you for your response

Leo,

Your test result is negative because you were not at risk. You do not need to test anymore. You do not have HIV.

leo,

Are you listening? You didn't have a risk. You don't need further testing. You do not have hiv. You are hiv negative.

See your doctor about what's bothering you. Whatever is going on has nothing to do with hiv - you don't have hiv.

If you've read the Welcome Thread like you're supposed to, you will have read the following posting guideline:

Quote
Anyone who continues to post excessively, questioning a conclusive negative result or no-risk situation, will be subject to a four week Time Out (a temporary ban from the Forums). If you continue to post excessively after one Time Out, you may be given a second Time Out which will last eight weeks. There is no third Time Out - it is a permanent ban. The purpose of a Time Out is to encourage you to seek the face-to-face help we cannot provide on this forum.

Please consider yourself warned.

You are worrying again over a no risk situation, please read the LESSONS again on how HIV is and isn't transmitted.

leo,

Hiv tests do NOT contain the hiv virus. You have not had a risk. You ARE hiv negative.

Leo,

You're still not listening. You didn't have a risk. You didn't need to test. Your test is conclusively hiv negative. You do not have hiv.

Keep using those condoms and you won't have hiv in future either.

I'm giving you that time out I warned you about. Do not attempt to create a new account to get around your time out because if you do, you will be permanently banned.
