Do I Have HIV? / Re: Unprotected Oral Sex with Canker Sore« Last post by Jim Allen on Yesterday at 01:42:13 pm »Hiya.
In short, you have a small sore and gave two guys a blowjob. Your symptoms have nothing to do with HIV from these blowjobs and you had no HIV risk from what you posted here, move on with your life. Giving a blowjob, the mouth generally lacks a route for HIV to infect. The canker sore makes no difference and saliva also neutralises HIV by damaging the receptors needed to infect human cells. Giving a blowjob is such a minute HIV risk that it doesn't warrant testing outside of routine. Move on with your life. Here's what you need to know to reduce your HIV risks: Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse correctly and consistently, with no exceptions. Continue to use PrEP as an additional layer of protection against HIV and get vaccinated against HPV, Hepatitis A & B. Keep in mind that some sexual practices described as safe in terms of acquiring HIV still pose a risk for other easier-acquired STIs. So please get tested routinely, ideally every three months as a PrEP user. Also, note that it is possible to have an STI and show no signs or symptoms; testing is the only way to know. Kind regards Jim Please Note. As a member of the "Do I have HIV" Forum, you are required to only post in this one thread no matter how long between visits or the subject matter. Do I Have HIV? / Unprotected Oral Sex with Canker Sore« Last post by demithri on Yesterday at 01:11:18 pm »What are the chances that I will acquire HIV through oral sex? I did it a lot of times with a guy. It lasted more than 10 mins but with intervals. We only did oral sex since I am aware that anal sex is a high risk activity for HIV. I'm on prep but only in an event-based dosage, 2-1-1...I've already taken prep for like 5 days already and in the 5th pill we have sex (oral)...I have canker sore a small one, in front in the lower jaw. What are the chance of me getting infected assuming there is precum.
On the next day, I have made another encounter with another guy who is HIV positive but undetectable, I still have a canker sore and on prep (my 6th pill) . Assuming he also has precummed in my mouth while I'm doing it. What are my chances for this scenario? Basically I've done it with two different guys. Is it possible that symptoms like sore throat and fatigue come after 4 days? I'm aware that one of the reason of my sore throat is drinking a lot of cold water, and we did partying and swimming the night before I felt my sore throat. When is the right time to get tested since I'm taking prep, it's my 9th pill today. An honest assessment is appreciated. 4
Nutrition & HIV / High-Octane Fuel For Your Cells!!« Last post by Lorenzopier on Yesterday at 01:04:47 am »Hello again everyone, as some of you might already know I am an avid supporter of using micronutrients in the correct combinations and dosages to enhance the quality of life for some long timers with an aids diagnosis. The micronutrient setup that I use looks very similar to the product in the following link but can be a bit more extensive covering more of the total micronutrient spectrum depending on what my needs are for the moment. I am in know way trying to endorse this product but simply feel this product is clearly the most fully balanced as well as contains the correct combinations of micronutrients that might be needed for some of us to elicit a significant overall response throughout many of the bodies different systems. Again check with a nutritionist or a doctor who actually has enough training in micronutrients before you consider any of these type products because a product like this that is incorrectly balanced, especially specially in the dosages, can actually do more harm than good if taken over a long period of time. Most insurances will also pay for this product as well.

Living With HIV / Re: "HOPE DIES LAST"« Last post by leatherman on May 06, 2024, 10:12:02 am »I was going to die, then I go and get a mortgage for 30 yearsMy first partner and I signed a 15-yr land contract. By that point, I knew Randy wasn't going to making it very long and figured I wouldn't either. It seemed like a fine deal to us as dying 30yr olds. At least we'd have a home while we got sick and died; but we've never have to worry about paying off the land contract. However, even though Randy passed away a year later, I survived and lived there for another 14 years through a few roommates to help pay the bills. The home we were supposed to die in become the home I was going to pay for and own. Unfortunately, and the bad part of a land contract, my landlord took a two week late payment (I had just been in the hospital dying, and then not dying of pneumonia) to end the contract, screwing me out of the house - but leaving me able to move in with my second partner, which did turn out to be a good thing out of a bad situation. Larry and I has some conversations about that old situation of mine when we were coming up on signing the mortgage for the house we live in now. At the end of this mortgage I'm going to be 87. Even though I joke and hope about living until 104 like my grandmother, there is the possibility that I won't make it that long. So twice now I've signed papers for a home and mortgage that I might not live to fulfill. At least this time I'm expecting old age not AIDS to be the reason. 7

Do I Have HIV? / Re: ARS symptoms next day ?« Last post by leatherman on May 06, 2024, 05:53:07 am »Quote I had an hiv test at clinic at 11 weeks it was as negative .that result is conclusive. You did NOT acquire HIV. Can you experience ars symptoms at 10 weeks or is it between 2 and 4 weeksYour focus on symptoms is misplaced. Most people have NO symptoms at all. That's why determination is always based on what the test says and not symptoms or how someone feels. If you're having medical issues, speak with your doctor. Just remember- any symptoms you are experiencing are NOT related to HIV. 9

Do I Have HIV? / Re: Unprotected High Risk Exposure to HIV Positive Person (Please help)« Last post by Jim Allen on May 05, 2024, 01:13:12 pm »Your issues (symptoms) have nothing to do with HIV.
It's 2024, and you had condomless sex and got tested, both the clinic and I said that you did not need to repeat the test, but you did so anyway, the result is conclusive. You are not immunocompromised, a time traveller or on chemo. So you do not have HIV unless you have had ongoing risk (continued to have condomless sex or shared needles). 28-day ban out of kindness. I wish you well, work with your healthcare provider to treat what is making you sick instead of focusing on something it's not and consider talking to a psychiatrist. |
