I have been tracking this forum since last one month.Finally after reading alot of posts got the courage to share my story:

I'm putting this on here for some kind of advice and information. Mine is the same story of broken condom.
I am straight. I had the sex with a prostitute in INDIA.firstly she game me oral for a minute or so than during time of sex ( Vaginal ) i took out  my penis one  times, it was all safe. But finally when i pulled out my penis last time afer ejaculation it was broken.

I don't know how long i was inside her with broken condome  but i think nt more than 2-3 minutes.When i returned home i saw a small red dot on top of my penis.
This is the incident of exactly on 23rd June 2012. Since then i never had unprotected sex with any girl and also since then i never had any symptoms related to HIV + like fever, lymph node etc.
I fear may be i am HIV(+).But never had courage to get tested. What you think the test results will be now I think my window period is over and I can test myself.I had no symptoms related to this but have no courage to test myself.


1. What are the chances I acquired HIV from my brief unprotected incentive oral, vaginal & anal sex with a prostitute woman?

2. No symptoms after the incident ?

3. If I did acquire HIV, what are the benefits to test as there is finally death assured with the virus.

4. I don’t want myself to be check if I will positive will not able to leave more than without test what you suggest ?


5. If I’ll test positive what will be my live expectancy with medicine or without medicines ?



5. What is your final opinion on my situation?

1. Getting a blowjob, with or without a condom, is NOT a risk for hiv infection.

Protected anal and/or vaginal intercourse are NOT risks for hiv infection.

While having a condom break while you are the insertive partner is a risk, it is very, very much on the low end of the scale. I have yet to see the insertive partner end up hiv positive following a condom break and I do not expect you to be the first. However, you should test to be certain.

2. Neither symptoms nor the lack of symptoms will ever tell you a single thing about your hiv status. ONLY testing at the appropriate time will.

3. Hiv is NOT a death sentence. Even in India, there are many drugs available that will enable you to life a full and healthy life. We have a few Indian hiv positive members in these forums who are doing just fine.

The benefits to testing and knowing your status are obvious - if you know you're hiv positive, you can find a doctor and obtain the life-saving meds. You may not even need meds for many years after initial infection.

4. I suggest you test. You're making a mountain out of a molehill here. You are highly unlikely to end up hiv positive as the insertive partner following a condom break. I've yet to see it happen in this forum and I do not expect you to be the first.

Just go test and collect your negative result so you can put your mind at ease. You can test anytime now for a conclusive result.

5. As I already told you, with meds you can expect to life a full, normal and healthy life. Without meds, there's no way of knowing. Some people can be healthy for twenty years or more without meds, some people will begin to become ill after only two or three years. There is no way of knowing where you'd fall in that timeline - BUT YOU ARE HIGHLY UNLIKELY TO TEST POSITIVE OVER THIS BROKEN CONDOM INCIDENT!!!!

GO TEST and get it over with. If in the unlikely case you are positive, you'll be able to take care of yourself and be healthy. If you're negative - which I fully expect you to be - you won't be living with this uncertainty hanging over your head for the rest of your life.

thank you very much ma'am, regarding my post in others story i apologies for the same I was not intended to do it. I'm not able to negotiate with the website properly and done it unintensionaly.  I just copied few same lines as i'm not very good in English grammar. Apologies again.... THREE more point which i want you to notice

1. The biggest mistake I inserted my penis in her vagina without condom just for 5 seconds before i started doing sex.
2. After the sex I have noticed a small red dot on top of my penis is this is a worry, it was disappeared after 5-6 days.
3. We were three males who has done sex with the prostitute as a sequence means i was first than they two followed me. But we have done it separately.

I'm really worried about the situation because no symptoms for anything is happening with me. which is worrying me too much. I hope you understand my situation

1. Big deal. Hiv is much more difficult to transmit from a woman to a man and five seconds - you're just not going to end up positive. I was with a man for a year and a half before I was diagnosed with hiv. We never used condoms during that time and yet he remained hiv negative. We used condoms after my diagnosis and he's hiv negative to this day.

2. Red dots have nothing to do with hiv. If you're worried about dots on your penis or any other part of your body, show them to a doctor.

3. So what? That's what sex workers do. It has no bearing on your very, very, very low risk situation.

GO TEST. Enough with the stupid excuses. Just go test and get it over with. You'll test negative, so just go do it already.

Aslam,

You used the report to moderator button to complain that you can't post, but if you'd bothered to read the IMPORTANT UPDATE that appears at the top of each and every page of this forum, you'd know that you used up your three free posts.

You also used the report button to say you've tested negative. No surprise there. You are conclusively hiv negative and you do not need further testing at this time. You do NOT have hiv.

Make sure you use condoms in future and use them properly so you don't have to worry about breakage again. Read through the condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use them correctly and with confidence.

Don't bother using the report button again to elicit another response. If you do, I'll simply ban you. You're hiv negative and that's the end of it.
