2 x CSW Vaginal Intercourse
« on: May 15, 2017, 03:33:07 am »
Hi there,

Thank you for your work on this forum. Great community service.

So here's my question; had brief (less than 10 thrusts) insertive intercourse with 2 CSW's in the middle-east,  once each 2 weeks apart. Double bagged both time (two condoms one on top of other) & used enough lube. I know double bagging is not recommended however to me the peace of mind outweighs the chance of both breaking.

The first time the outer condom broke & the inner seemed to be leaking very slowly (two drop of water per minute).

The second time it seemed (no obvious rip where condom is halfway down the penile shaft) on withdrawal/ejaculation that the outer condom had broken but I removed both quickly and did not check for any leakage on either condom.

I would normally not consider myself at risk for HIV specifically after these two interactions.

However, 2-4 weeks later, I came down with severe headache, full body weakness (malaise) & low grade fever (around 100 F). This lasted exactly 3 days. Had a very stiff neck the fourth day & fully recovered by day 5.

A week or two after this, developed painful cellulitis (diagnosed by a medical doctor) on back of leg that lasted 3 weeks - doc prescribed high dose amoxicillin for a week - recovered after that.

Have also lost 8 pounds of weight without trying to in this time.

Question: do I need to be tested for HIV or any other STDs for that matter?

Thank you!
Anton

Hi Anton, Nothing you mentioned was risk for HIV since one of your condoms remained intact. You are correct, using two condoms is not recommended because it causes friction and can end up with both failing. So why do you do it anyway ?

For your question...Everyone who is sexually active should be testing for all STIs including HIV on a regular basis.

Thank you for the feedback Wade. Much appreciated.

Just out of curiosity - have you ever known or heard of an insertive partner acquiring HIV following a confirmed condom break?

That is strange - I have seen at least two other moderators on this forum (Ann is one of them) who have said they have never come across an insertive acquiring HIV following a condom break -

It's not strange at all. You asked for wades personal experience. He gave it to you, this is different from person to person its not fact.

Only thing that matters is if you had a risk as in biologically the route of transmission is possible or not.

In this case not, move on with you life.
