Title: Is This The New Layout For The Forums?
Post by: tednlou2 on March 31, 2011, 02:20:06 am
In another thread, I posted a thread that had been moved from Living to Just Test Poz.  At first, I didn't know what I was looking at.  The layout was totally different.  I found it very hard to read with the darker blue/grayish color.  Is this going to be the new design?  It says newforums in the link.  If not, what is this?

I followed the link and it appears to be a like a snapshot of these forums, because there are no posts beyond March 16, 2011. However, I can sign in and my avatar from here shows and it appears to be a complete forum. In the upper left hand corner it says "New Babylon II" and in the upper right "Simple Machines". To be honest the layout is dreadful and the only thing worse than that is the color scheme. A battleship grey background with white lettering. I tried making a post, but got an error. In the News Box it says "Testing New Header"

It's like a surreal AIDSmeds.com, as if we could get any more surreal.

Ah, that's the link to the secret "Matrix" AIDSmeds forum where a select group of us log in to talk about the rest of you. ;)

That would take some getting use to for sure.  It looks like Simple Machines has quite a few to choose from.
