Hi all - I'm new here
« on: October 02, 2007, 07:01:17 am »
Helloooo there! Actually I'm not really new.....I just haven't visited in like 5 years. I'm a 32 year old woman originally from Zimbabwe but now living in South Africa. Found out I was positive in 1996 so have been living with the disease (knowingly) for about 11 years now. I'm healthy, I'm on meds and currently my counts are excellent. I'll be married 5 years in December - hubby is hiv negative. He's been a pillar of strength and has really been my knight in shining armour.

Well thats a brief intro on me. I'm hoping to make a lot of new chat buddies and hopefully will also make some really good pals along the way.

Welcome to the forum, Tamika. Love that name! Glad to read you have a knight to support and love you. Sounds like a mighty ally. You will likely be interested in the section, "Positive Women" too. (left side of page)
Hope you will find chat friends, acquaintances, comfort, laughter, share in tears (at times), help and knowledge in AIDSMED forums.

xxx,
Mike

Welcome (back) Tamika.  The stories of what is happening in Zimbabwe are heartbreaking.  I'm glad you were able to build a new and happy life in South Africa.
