Study linking Autism to Childhood vaccinations deemed a FRAUD!

I think this topic came up some time ago.  BT and I were commenting on this.  NOW, it seems the study has been revealed as an out and out fraud. 
Because of this person, babies have died because of lack of vaccination.

I hate to break it to that pom doctor, but one cause of autism in children is gluten intolerance, or its cousin, celiac disease.

I don't see parents restricting their kids intake of wheat, barley or unpure oats

What's more, this guy had a very small study group. I find it hard to believe people jumped on that band wagon and didn't vaccinate their kids, thusly opening the door to some very serious if not lethal diseases.

wow, a single study, not repeatable, that totally overturns decades of research is fraudulent? No way.

How can we expect the general public to understand scientific principle (and peer review, and repeatable conditions, et al) if stuff like that passes muster in the scientific community?

Of COURSE they call it "an elaborate fraud." Because they don't DARE concede to being swindled EASILY. Which they were.

Oh dear. The anti-vaxers.

What a bunch of five star, water tight, gold plated, fur lined, sea going, weapons grade, diamond studded fuckwits.

We have clusters of them here in Oz and they do untold damage. Endless outbreaks of infectious diseases which should be history like measles and the particularly horrible pertussis, (commonly known as whooping cough) maim and kill children each year.

Umm.... aztecan, celiac disease doesn't CAUSE autism. Its just that it seems to occur more frequently in autistic people. That, and many parents put their autistic kids on a GF/CF (gluten free/casein free) diet. Supposedly this helps reduce symptoms, although I don't think this has ever been proven scientifically to be effective.

Honestly, this whole vaccine/autism thing is getting so old! I'm autistic (Asperger's Syndrome here) and I'm certainly not gullible enough to blame vaccines for my condition. The science simply doesn't support it. But moms say "well my kid was fine but then at age two he got three shots and slowly drifted away...". Duh, it doesn't mean the shots made him autistic, its just that signs of autism naturally tend to become more obvious around that age! Correlation in time doesn't equal causation!

With this story out, I don't really think those people dedicated to the anti-vaccine prevention of autism movement will be much convinced. Conspiracy theories are surprisingly durable, and sadly, many children probably continue to die unnecessarily of diseases they could have been vaccinated against.

Anderson Cooper did two good nights on this. Very revealing.  People are idiots to take health advice from celebrities.  The doc was smarmy. The study was trashed years ago, actually.
And there were no Jews in WTC on 9/11.
And the US government has a cure for AIDS.
And Obama is a sleeper spy.
