Title: Here We Go

I'm going to be away from a computer for the next couple of days so this will be my final post before Mexico City.

It's hard for me to believe that AMG is still alive and strong.  Lord knows!

1.  We've been to Toronto, (and thank you Gregory Scott--you'll always be a star in my book).

2.  We've been to Montreal, (thank you Claude, SAE, and Dennis--without you it could never have happened--seriously).

3.  We've been to San Francisco, (thank you AlanQ, and again Dennis), you guys did an  awesome job.

This will be my fourth AMG.  I've had the privilege of laughing, allowed myself to cry, and shared memories that never in my wildest dreams, could I have imagined.

Many things have changed around here, so the mere fact that AMG is still going is a testament to the man who originally suggested the idea.

A man named Scooter, posted a question long time ago (in the old forums).  It was a simple question.  "Wouldn't it be nice if we could all get together?" 

And here we are.  We've done well, if you ask me.

I'll see you guys in Mexico City, and to those friends who can't make it, you have to know, you'll be in our hearts.

Mr RAB,

Don't you ever feel even a bit embarrassed.  You Mister are one of the reasons that AMG exists and grows.

Personally, I will never forget Scooter.  His dream turned into a lasting reality, an annual event.  Maybe we should rename AMG "Scooter's AMG".  He has given each of us so much of himself through his dream.  His dream will be ever in my heart as I pray that Scooter is still with us.  But I suspect that he is one of the souls that we remember each year at our annual Memorial Service.  Wherever you are Scooter, thank you for the love that you sent this family.
