stirp bar incident
« on: August 15, 2009, 06:46:25 pm »
I was with a commercial sex worker recently. This was the first time i have been to a prostitute.
The girl and I started to mastrubate each other. I was fingering her ..
After sometime I realized it is not correct for me to engage in sex and left the place.

After a few days i got a doubt whether i would have exposure to hiv.
I am sure that i did not touch her pussy with my penis .. my penis was atleast 5 inches away from her..

when i have called up the CDC they said that chance of transmission through environment are minimal .. but they are not accessing my risk. How many number of times i ask about exposure, they are asking me to get tested. This really making nervous.

Please access my risk.
Thanks,
Sai

At no time were you at risk of contracting HIV. Nothing you did was a risk.

No, your risk was not minimal. It was NO RISK WHATSOEVER. I'm not going to bother guessing why whoever answered your call at the CDC said it was minimal. That answer is ridiculous and totally incorrect.

You did not have a risk and you don't need to worry any further about this incident. For the future just remember to always without exception use condoms for vaginal and anal intercourse. Those are the only confirmed risks sexually for HIV transmission. As long as you use condoms everytime you will be well protected.

Cheers.

Hi Ann,

I have been to a strip bar yesterday.. There I have met a girl and taken her to a lap dance..

While she was dancing on top of me I opened my penis .. even then she was dancing on top of me with her butts on top of my penis .. she was wearing a panty at this time..

What are the chances that any fluid would come from her  anus and enter into my urethra.. she was rubbing against my penis with her butts rapidly..

Once again you are worrying needlessly. There was no risk in your latest incident. The issue of sexual transmission is not complicated so I will repeat what I have said previously: the only confirmed risks for sexual transmission of HIV are unprotected vaginal and anal intercourse. Masturbation, fingering, rubbing and other such acts which do not involve actual unprotected insertion are NOT risks.

There's no need for testing nor for further concern about HIV in relation to this incident. Just make sure you always use a condom for either vaginal or anal intercourse.

Cheers.

You did NOT have a risk at the strip bar. Hiv is NOT transmitted through clothing. Hiv is a very fragile virus that needs a very specific environment in order to be successfully transmitted. That environment is INSIDE the human body. NOT outside. Once the virus is outside the body, small changes in temperature and pH and moisture levels all quickly damage the virus and render it unable to infect. Hiv is transmitted INSIDE the human body, as in unprotected anal or vaginal intercourse where the virus never leaves the confines of the two bodies.

You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for ALL sexually transmitted infections together. To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with an STI. Sex without a condom lasts only a matter of minutes, but hiv is forever.

Have a look through all three condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use condoms with confidence.

ALTHOUGH YOU DO NOT NEED TO TEST OVER A LAPDANCE, anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.

If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results. Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!

Ann,

One worst case scenario:  If i was accidentally rubbing against her anus (just let me think the panty just moved out of its position).. this will be a frottage situation.. is frottage against anus also a no risk situation?

Sai,

Frottage is not a risk for hiv infection and it doesn't matter what part of the other person's body you are rubbing with your penis. No risk.
