A day with HIV
« on: September 16, 2011, 09:09:17 am »

http://www.adaywithhivinamerica.com/

t's an image, a moment in our day, a time with a supportive co-worker, family member, or friend when we not only accommodate, but also overcome, the challenges that HIV can often bring to our lives. And to the lives of those we love and care for.

In a few days on Wednesday, September 21 you can share a moment in your daily life through a photograph that tells your story -- in one frame. You can submit that image to the "A Day with HIV in America" photo essay project at www.adaywithhivinamerica.com.

On that single day, people across America -- gay and straight, positive and negative, anyone affected by HIV -- can grab a digital camera and "take a shot" to chronicle a time in their day that tells a story of living with HIV.

Can I submit a shot of me banging my head on my keyboard while answering posts in the Am I forum? Cuz that pretty much sums up most days with hiv for me.

HIV is certainly character-building. It's made me see all of the shallow things we cling to, like ego and vanity. Of course, I'd rather have a few more T-cells and a little less character. Randy Shilts

I just need someone to take a picture of me waking up from an Atripla induced dream/mental fog, cotton mouthed and feeling as full as if I've just eaten a seven course meal.  Seriously the mornings are not pretty for me anymore.

Quit being a glutton for punishment.   I told you over the phone to get off that stuff months ago :-*
