Can anyone give a definitive answer with the risk of sharing notes and cocaine ,on Medhelp the Doctor says with refernece to HIV transmission the following " There are a VERY small number of cases in which sharing devices to snort cocaine appear to have led to transmission of infection."
Is it still the case that no testing is required with regards to HIV with sharing straws/ bills/notes whensnorting cocaine and is the link with HCV still theoretical.
Is anyine aware of any documented cases of transmission wit HIC of HCV hep C with sharing bills /straws etc when sniffing cocaine ?

Not an HIV concern. HIV is unable to reproduce outside its living host (unlike many bacteria or fungi, which may do so under suitable conditions), except under laboratory conditions; therefore, it does not spread or maintain infectiousness outside its host.
HIV is transmitted by;
Unprotected penetrative anal and/or vaginal sex
Sharing works with other IV drug users
Mother to child

Thanks are there any documented cases of HSV Hepatitis C this way or is that just theoretical

Again, you are worrying needlessly. Keep it simple, Jamie. Rod has given you essentials about HIV. And I don't know of any cases of Hep C being transmitted via shared straws or bills.
Get on with your life.

By keep it simple I mean stop searching the net or elsewhere to feed your fears to no good purpose.
You did not have a risk for HIV. Let this issue go and get on with your life.
