1.66 is high.. I'm no doctor but if I were you, I'd see my doctor again, get retested and ask him about it.. until then I'd keep myself well hydrated and lay off alcohol, caffeine and smoking.

You might see a better result after retesting.. and it may not be your treatment causing it.

I had high creatinine level but it was due to the truvada TDF and was switched off it. I still take dolutegravir.

Talk to doc.

Thanks for the advice  but I don't  drink alcohol much like that but I took lemon with hot water every morning  I don't  if its the cause .. is like  I'm having  BP of 140 / 90 ups and down .

Consume adequate amount of liquid and stay off strenuous workout few days prior to the test. I tanked my creatinine level last time (160) and it was caused by working out too hard at the gym. I had to to another round of test and result returned to normal range again.

But I'm suspecting my viral load might  rebounds to detectable   I rechecked my kidney today 1.7 last week was 1.66 all different  hospitals  .I think  I'll try  not to do exercise before doing another  test

Why would you need to recheck CD4 and Viral Load? When was it last checked and was there an issue?

Regarding the serum creatinine level of 1.66, have you spoken to your doctor? I think the advice to make sure you are drinking healthy amounts can't hurt. Maybe you could retest this to see what's what in a few weeks depending on what the doc says.

My last viral test was june last year and it was undetectable before I changed  to TLD on September last year ..
I test for kidney last week  with another  clinic it was 1.66 that was fasting  test then  today I rest  with another  clinic without fasting  from another  hospital  the result came  out 1.7 and  I took  almost 1 litter of water before  testing  .

And in Sept last year, you were already 1.5 correct?

If I was you I would drink plenty of fluids, talk to your doctor about this and getting a VL done as it's been nearly 9 months and you have not checked since switching.

You are on TDF 300 mg, 3TC 300 mg, and DTG 50 mg. - i.e TLD? Maybe its time to switch away from anything with TDF but that's something to discuss with the doctor.

I was with heart doctor  yesterday after evaluation and echocardiogram and Ecg he told  me that I have enlarged heart due to untreated BP for almost a year plus  that it's  the cuase of my creatine increase. In short I'm  confused. He pressed me on arbitel-Am 40 and tothema also doppel herz ..
 However in Nigeria I don't think they have different options like Thailand as per to change TDF.
Pls which one  is better  than TDF

So the heart doctor started you on treatment for the BP and they feel that could be the cause.

My hiv doctor  said they will switch me to abacavir lamivudine and dolutegravir.
How's  abacavir reaction is good to switch bcoz there's no other option again.

As fixed-dose (single pill)? If you could get 3TC & DTG as separate pills that might be an option as well.

Anyhow, ABC/3TC and DTG is the same combo I take, my own experience is fine. 2 of the components you already take, it's just the ABC is new for you.

Try it and see how you get on.

My ID doctor later changed his mind  and told me to wait for another  month before switching to single dose  of (ziagen) he want me  to retest again  by a month and test my viral load  tomorrow.

Hi

Could this be the cause of the drug I'm taking.
I'm in Nigeria now and I switched from old drug to (TLD)
Dolutegravir lamivudine and Tenofovir
And my creatine is going up to 1.66 and BP is not that high 135/85.
What should  I do .??

I was on Nvp/Reconvir before when was in Thailand  and now in Nigeria they
Switched me to TLD generic brand.
But then my creatine was 1.1 or 1.2 but now even I'm having heart issues  like feeling tired
Whenever I'm doing exercise than before.
I Switched to TLD  by 2020

could this be the side effect of (TLD)Dolutgrair Lamuvidine tenofovir my creatine is elaveting from 1.1 to 1.5mg pls what should I do and I am gainingmuch weight .

My Doctor took me off  a regime containing Tenofovir because my creatinine levels were rising. I reached 1.31. I now take Triumeq but the number never dropped back to normal. Stopped rising though.

Work with your Dr, there are many options available now that don't use TDF.

Here in Nigeria it is very difficult to assess drug and even the doctor's are not that much exposed on hiv medicine.
He was telling me abacavir and that's very annoying medicine.
Could someone knows any other better medication. When I was on Nvp/Reconvir everything was fine that was in Thailand.
