Hi everyone.
My current fiancé has proposed me marriage these days. I'm visiting USA and I'm from south America. He's going to request for the K1 Visa for the marriage, it includes a medical examination, do u guys know if with my condition, the embassy or migration department might reject the wedding or civil status change, residence, etc?

:) Congratulations, wishing you both the best.

The US immigration department does not check or ever test for HIV. I can vouch for this personnally as my wife and i just did this same thing ourselves. smooth sailing and no problems with the US governement getting a foreigner a visa if either one of you are HIV positive.

Even if they do check during the exam for HIV I wouldn't worry. Medical conditions are protected under anti discrimination laws.
