Some (many) of you probably know of the Gay republican Andrew Sullivan. He's on many tv talk shows, political talk shows.

Well, i was watching c-span friday am and they mentioned Andrew Sullivan was going to be on c-span sunday 10/15, I think at 7 or 8pm. (8pm est)
He will be talking about his hiv status. I guess he is hiv+. That really surprised me since I have wondered, and always wonder, how there can be "Gay republicans" in the first place. I know there are, i lived with one for 8 years (looong years) out in San Diego. Actually he's a good guy and a good friend, but I joke.
By the way, Andrew says he is not a republican, but a "conservative" (I guess).

So I was taken back a bit when hearing that Andrew Sullivan is also hiv+.
But he will be on this sunday, just an FYI for anyone interested.

Andrew Sullivan is another HIV+ gay, conservative, wind-bag who loves the sound of his own voice...he would fit in nicely around here. He has spent the better part of the last year apologising for his conservative, party-line positions on the war and other topics. Like the rest of his kind, he prefers to blame it on the "neo-cons" for hijacking the movement. He's about as welcome in the conservative tent as any other deceased ridden homo.

Has anyone found that their drugs are becoming cheaper?

Yeah I was kind of wondering on that part as well. The pharmacy price of Atripla was almost 1500 bucks. Someone here said on another post that it was a bit cheaper than the sustiva/truvada combo with their insurance. I've still got to come up with nearly 300 bucks a month for it after my insurance kicks in. I'm going to do some searching for prices for these drugs. I'm not certain but I'm guessing we are paying a premium for the abilities of the drug to work as one pill per day rather than taking several every few hours.
