Post by: duran0679 on June 24, 2013, 11:36:27 am
hi, first of all, i would like to apologies for my language. Long time not to use it. i wrote u from Turkey.

i would like to tell u my story. 28 days ago, i had sex with sex worker and i had a problem to get hard and she gave me unprotected oral sex then she put my penis to her vagina and i stayed there for 5 seconds. then remove my penis out and put condom then we continue sex. after 24 days, i got 2 purples spots on my neck. They are getting smaller day after day. But freak me out. my questions are

1. how risk am I in?

2. Can Purples spot on my neck  show up in 24 days if I am positive? is it a symptoms.

No, those purple whatever they are spots are not in anyway HIV specific. If they persist you should discuss them with your doctor.

Technically you had a low level risk when you briefly inserted vaginally without wearing a condom. You can get tested at 6 weeks. Assuming your result is negative then I would expect it to be negative again at 3 months for a conclusive result.

You can avoid that kind of risk in the future by always using a condom for intercourse. No exceptions. They provide very effective protection.

I expect you to come out of this ok.
