Bringing up the rear (no pun)
« on: July 19, 2008, 03:14:12 pm »
Hola:

No I don't speak Spanish but I am happy to be announcing I will be joining the AMG group in Mexico.  Rather last minute planning but I was offered a shared room by the very nice pozniceguy, Nick, and will be staying August 14-August 19th, a couple days later than Nick.  I am confirming my reservations this afternoon so don't have the exact times yet but I will be there and I am looking forward to meeting a caballero!   ;)
Seriously, I am looking forward to meeting everyone attending.  This has been a supportive and friendly forum and I have appreciated everyone's friendship, advice and good wishes.
I don't speak Spanish but when I chat with my online friends from Spanish speaking countries, if they don't speak English, I use Gooogle Translator to enable a conversation.  Language is no barrier in these technologically advanced days.  So....

Estoy deseoso de conocerle en Mexico y pasar un buen rato mis amigos. Estar bien.
I look forward to meeting you in Mexico and having a good time my friends.  Be well.

Ron

20 years with HIV, 10 years with HCV and still rocking.  Do yourselves a favor, do a lot of research on reputable sites, find a multidisciplinary care team, think POZ., no more fun drugs booze, eat well, enjoy good safe sex a lot, and network in forums like this where there some people with knowledge.  Otherwise get a health care advocate through your local A.S.O.   Smile and be adventurous.  Help your peers and my best to you all!

Hi Ron

I'm glad you will be able to join us, look forward to meeting you.

When you have everything sorted out just post in the "AMG 08 arrivals/departures" thread so Ric can update the list..

Take care and see you soon.

BTW..Nick doesn't have that user name for nothing.. ;)
