I couldn't understand why George and the Right Wing Weenies got all upset when that Spanish version came out. I always thought your national anthem was in Spanish. I quote:

Jose, can you seeeeeee?

Don't worry our national anthem is just as weird. The opening line is

Australians all let us rejoice!

but when I was a little Matty the Damned, I thought it went:

Australians all eat ostriches!

and was quite confused.

Hey Lisa

No-one in Aussie knows the words to the "Australian Anthem".. they just like to Hum tunes...the words mean nothing apparently...at least that's what I was told... ;)

Of course I know all the words to my own "Unofficial" Scottish Anthem... :D

Hello Dan,

Yes, I know the words to the Star Spangled Banner. Of course, trying to sing it, can be difficult, if you don't start off right...

Remember when Roseanne Barr, sang the National anthem, and was scratching her crotch. She caught hell for that. But I still think, she is a riot, and very talented.
