Happy Halloween!!!
« on: October 28, 2013, 11:54:18 pm »
Here is my costume for Halloween. Wolverine is the least complicated costume I have done but I really wasn't sure I could pull it off, I'm much more Professor X. I am satisfied with how it turned out. My thanks to Brandi, the hairdresser who cut my wig.

I'll post West Hollywood pictures after the big event. Anyone else getting dressed up this year?

Wow!  I really thought the first pic was really what's his name.  I thought you were showing the example pic.  Great job.  I think you could be his stunt double.  Hey, or the real thing.  Maybe they write in a twin brother.

Maybe we could make a calendar, comprised of photos of Ford in his costumes and sell them as a money raiser for AMGs.  I know I would buy at least a gross or so of them.

FABULOUS!! WOOF!!  LOL

You did great, as usual!

I would post pictures if it were easier, but it's never been since way back when. I can't even get my avatar to work. But I was a tatted-up carnival clown, and Will said I looked like "Raggedy Andy after his star fell and he took up crack."

Which is what I felt like Sunday morning.

But lots of hands were reaching for my candy down in my hoop pants, to the point where I had to hold my wallet in my hand at the club. And some bold fucker grabbed my arm as we were leaving, spun me around and planted one on me. Thank goodness my husband didn't see that!

Really Ford how many creations do you have ? It is not such a strong tradition in the UK , Children Trick or treat, they have learned it from TV , Religious leaders tut-tut , it is not popular on Orkney.

Probably about a dozen costumes. I'm not nearly as serious about it as some. When I made a steampunk costume two years ago I met a group of people who were part of a steampunk society. They meet regularly, role-play, etc. They even handed me an embossed business card, which certainly made an impression.

How did it go Ford? Last news Golds Gym then silence , those off us who have to lead exciting life,s through others await.

I just got back from Los Angeles this afternoon. Halloween was a lot of fun but unfortunately my friend who usually goes with me to the Halloween Carnival couldn't this year due to work, although I did meet up with some other people. Partiers at the carnival seemed to respond better to this costume compared to my previous efforts, which is ironic because I felt least confident about how this was going to turn out until I got the everything put together. There were a lot of great costumes. I read that approximately 300,000 showed up and that one man burned to death when his costume caught on fire, which I didn't know had happened until later. These were some of my favorite costumes:

I love group costumes and I love Whac-A-Mole! I didn't get a good shot so this is someone else's photo.

West Hollywood. They have one of the largest Halloween celebrations in the world. The news estimated about 500,000 people showed up this year.
