Title: You're Going To Hell For Doing Yoga
Post by: tednlou2 on September 29, 2010, 01:55:12 am: Louisville's very own, Rev. Albert Mohler says Christians cannot do yoga and keep with their faith. Many of you are probably familiar with Mohler as he's very influencial with conservative leaders and has been on national media countless times. A few years ago, he came out and said he believed homosexuality is probably genetic, but said science should find ways to change that in the womb.

On another religious topic, a new Pew research study found Atheists and Agnostics have more knowledge about Christianity and the Bible.

What do you mean old news? The Yoga story just aired last week and the Pew study aired today. However, I wouldn't be surprised that other religious leaders have talked about yoga being the devil's work in the past. And, I'm sure studies have been done in the past about religious knowledge.

They'd invite one guy to each session, and then one of them would fuck the guy that evening. They were on the pill or used IUDs, smoked clove cigarettes, ate tofu lasagna, and read french literature. Well, of course we do. We are smart asses of the world who as children say innappropriate things in Sunday school class like "Noah really got two of every creature on Earth on an ark. Are you serious?" and then goes to the library to add up the weights of various large mammals, multiplying by two of course.

Diane Sawyer comes home to Louisville where she was born and raised to see how we are doing during this economic situation. She visits a church group that welcomes all faiths and helps others. She actually comes home very regularly to visit her mom.

One time there was a lesson using Zodiac in a textbook for a communication class. One of the students couldn't participate because she said her church taught that Horoscopes were the devil's work.

I have a coworker who goes to the UU church and she says they are open to almost anything. :)

I got 12/15, which is better than I expected. Thank you UNC-Asheville for my liberal arts education.

Does anyone know where the term "pinko commie" originated?
