I'm currently looking re-design my website and thought I'd check here to see if anyone does this type of thing for a living.  If so, please contact me via pm to discuss.

You can look at a dated version of my old site, http://www.bodyworkformen.com and think about contacting my designer Paul@allcrystalclear.com mentioning my name.  He is in Vancouver which was never a problem for me in NYC.  His rates reasonable.  Smart, good to work with.  You can also look at another one of my old sites, http://www.thegaymalebody.com run now by Jack Slomovits and Sean Meriwether.  Jack is a photographer.  Sean and Jack work on website design, etc.  Again, mention me.  Win

Hi Dennis,

Anyone can design a web site on any computer.  There are plenty of programs available and resources for shareware to make the page attractive.  I had www.Commission-on-AIDS.org (http://www.Commission-on-AIDS.org) professionally done but did all the writing myself.  This site has 20 key words and phrases and has been viewed by over 60,000 unique visitors within the past year.  Webincome is based in Colorado, has a server in Denver and another in Los Angeles which can handle anything an entire state can put on the web.  They have clients from Romania to Tokyo.

I am currently having another site designed by them which has nothing to do with HIV/AIDS.  The current design is on workers' comp issues and will feature safety program designs, I have been working on since my AIDS diagnosis and hospitalization in 1996.  This new site will have 400 key words and search terms.   My designer, Gayle is waiting for me to finish the list of search terms, while I am having a writers block at 233 key words. I hope to have www.reduceworkerscompcosts.com published by March 1st.  Have the best day

Me too NH.

To me that's still the best and least confusing. HTML coding by hand helped me a great deal to learn what goes on "behind the scenes" of Web pages. I also learned that if you get one keystroke missing or out of place the whole works goes wonky. LOL Mind you, I always kept my pages rather basic, except for using the occasional JavaScripts to liven things up.
