Am I crazy...

I really enjoyed roller skating when I was younger. I am 44 next Week. I want to pick up skating again. I think I can practice skating on my carpeted living room floor. Then take it outside.
My daughter,(23), said she’d help me. Just until I catch my balance.
The only thing is I broke my lower leg in 2017. I have a plate and pins in my lower leg.
I fear falling and causing another injury. My husband even worries. He says I’m accident prone. I am clumsy.
But I can’t help but think of how fun and cool it would be to roller dance. So I have goals for skating.
I watch videos and joined an online roller group.
Does this sound like a mid-life crises thing?
Just the other day I watched a 57 year old woman rock climb online. I do see people older than me enjoying outdoor activities.
