Jan, I didn't know if I would have let him believe that I was going, he would stop. Could you imagine how he would be on your ass for not going? I got a call from Cliff this morning and he is definitely coming to San Francisco.  He said he made his hotel reservation today and plans to book his flight by this weekend. 

He also said he's doing well and looking forward to the gathering.

VIRGIN AMERICAN

Virgin American has finally received approval to offer domestic flights.  It is headquartered out of SF and will start selling tickets in few weeks and will start flying this summer.  I am sure there will be some great promotional fares. 

Even though it is a domestic airline, it is associated with Virgin Atlantic.  I wouldn't be surprised if Virgin Atlantic will also do its share to promote the new airline so look for some new, discounted international fares too.

At this point, I am consideringbacking out.  Two of our LTS's whom I desperately wanted to meet do not appear to be going.  The hotel is killing my budget at this point.  I will know more at the end of June.  I am currently out on medical leave from work for anal fistual surgery and that is crimping the finances so to speak.  So anyone up for sharing a hotel room or something?  I am a smoker ..... let me know via PM.
