Let's go in a slightly different direction now (I may be channeling Youth Pastor Tim):

Now that's big hair!

I love that song.

I bought the K-tel version of this song (of course I was 10 at the time): http://youtube.com/watch?v=XtXhHn6Yaqc

With his super fast lyrics I wouldn't want to try doing karaoke to this one. Not that I do karaoke.

That song couldn't get stuck in my head because if I ever heard it my pre-cognition filters ignored it completely.   They have been quite useful in maintaining ignorance of Britney Spears or Bill O'Reilly and innumerable others much of my life.

The video looks like a promo for a new Christopher Guest/Eugene Levy & crew vehicle.  The resolution is so bad it's impossible to be sure but I think Parker Posey may be the girl on the left.

I give it a 4.  And that's extraordinarily generous.

Here's a live version of my favorite love song but the studio recording is famous/infamous and has more oomph: "Why d'ya do it" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nH6bAMKA5fU

I didn't listen to the whole thing either.

edited to add my response is to the first of these 50-odd posts.  I don't have time to go through all the rest, excuse moi, at least not tonight.

Charlie Daniels wouldn't be my first choice if asked what kind of music I'd like to hear but in the south he is a classic.

Its sprinkling outside so today I'm in the mood for a little Neil Sedaka.

Ah .....Anita Mann.....brings back so many fond memories of Patrick McGinley, OUR own  Aneeda Mann.  And indeed ....she registered her name in every phone book she could.   I'm not sure if she ever got a date that way but she was quick to point out that she WAS in the phone book, darling. And dont you forget it.

Sadly Patrick passed away from complications due to AIDS.  He left us a couple of pigs......out of his blown glass pig collection. ;D
