Indeed it is known as CowTown, the Stockyards are just down the road and then there is the Will Rogers Stockshow Emporium ...(I must confess that I am a native Texan, but am not a cowboy, though I do enjoy a good ride now and then) ::)  The Stockshow also is a large flea market, so I am not stuck looking at only  livestock when we go....yeah for Garland. ...

Thanks.  When I first moved in here the exterior looked like crap, but they spent a lot of money afterwards re-doing it.  I'm surprised they didn't jack up my rent which would have forced me to find something else.  Plus I'm a mere block from a subway entrance, which is great because I don't own a car.

I've lived here about 5 years. Before I was in Grand Prairie, and I've also lived in Arlington and Irving.

Our house is on the other side of I-75 from Berkner.

I used to work for the University of Texas at Arlington (I graduated from there). I had a house off Park Row on Wynn Terrace.

One of my first apartments in 1993 was right off campus on S. Center and E 3rd.

Small world.

I guess I belong in Greensboro, North Carolina because I don't want to do any of those things (although the topless women sound like fun). ;)
