Waiting for test results
« on: January 08, 2007, 06:45:28 am »
last week i had a full physical, my doctor tested me for everything under the sun - most worried about the stool kit test, didn't look good, blood in it, have had problems in the past, we'll see... cd4 and viral load I think will be good - hoping for over 500 and undetectable; hopefully the other test results will be good - he said some results will be in tomorrow (tuesday)

Treated myself well this past weekend, spring weather here, plenty of exercise, and I went to see the french film classic "The Children Of Paradise", which was amazing! (but long - 3 hours and 14 minutes!)

Meditated this morning, it's raining here today, ready for a good day, trying not to worry, whatever will be will be - wishing I were dating, anybody know any cute Boston guys who might like me?? (;

How about if I post myself along the highway as they travel through Hyannis this season and, for a small referral fee :) hand out a picture filled fact sheet about you to all the 'cute' Boston guys on their way to P-town?  Win
Winthrop Smith has published three collections of poetry: Ghetto: From The First Five; The Weigh-In: Collected Poems; Skin Check: New York Poems.  The last was published in December 2006.  He has a work-in-progress underway titled Starting Positions.

Keeping fingers crossed for you, Rich, and awaiting report tomorrow on your results. Bleeding in stool might also be from herrhoids... Especially if it's bright red. Just sayin'....

CHILDREN OF PARADISE is one of my all-time favorites. I still regret that when I was at a party back in the 80s in Paris at the Cinemateque, I passed up the chance to chat with the director Marcel Carne and tell him how much I loved his movie. It IS long, but so rich. So many beautiful scenes. Hmmm. I think I'm going to  have to watch it very soon. (I have it on DVD). Maybe tonight.

Have a good Monday and deal with Tuesday when it gets here, Rich.

Cheers,
Andy Velez
