Sorry to hear about your rough patch. Never having a stent placed in me, but at almost 73 years of age, I've known quite a few people over the years that have had that done.
Everyone I know, that has has that procedure done,were always surprised how much better they felt afterwords.
Be advised though, if you are not on blood thinners, you most likely will be placed on them. This is to avoid any possible clots, from forming around the newly inserted stent. If you have a choice of blood thinners Eliquis ( Apixaban) is the best. I've been on it for a few years with no issues.
