Nick, you are worrying needlessly. There was absolutely no risk of HIV transmission in the incident you have described. Zero risk.

No matter what spin you put on masturbation, it is not a risk for HIV. HIV is a fragile virus and sexually requires the kind of receptive setting which only unprotected vaginal and anal intercourse provide.

The rest of your conjecturing is really all about what ifs -- i.e. what if she is HIV+, (and you incorrectly presume that simply because she's a sex worker she is +) and what if her hand was bleeding -- and it wouldn't have mattered even if she had been although it hardly seems likely she would have been masturbating you with a freshly wounded hand.

No, to me this seems that it is really all about anxiety about the sexual experience and your simply not knowing the basics of how transmission takes place. Read our lesson on transmission if you haven't already done so. There's a link to it in the welcome thread which opens this section.

You have no cause for HIV concern about this incident.

No, you do not need to get tested about this incident. There was no risk. How much clearly can I say that to you.

Don't make the mistake of thinking you need to gather a lot of responses. This is a simple situation so don't complicate it by allowing your fears to get the better of you. The facts as you have reported them clearly indicate you had no risk.

No stop the dramatics and get on with your life.

You're welcome. Now get on with your life.

And just make sure to always without exception use condoms for vaginal and anal intercourse. Then you will be well protected against the sexual transmission of HIV.

Anyone who continues to post excessively, questioning a conclusive negative result or no-risk situation, will be subject to a four week Time Out (a temporary ban from the Forums). If you continue to post excessively after one Time Out, you may be given a second Time Out which will last eight weeks. There is no third Time Out - it is a permanent ban. The purpose of a Time Out is to encourage you to seek the face-to-face help we cannot provide on this forum.

Blood to blood? But you didn't have any such incident. You're just what iffing about this -- you had a little nick to your penis and now you're wringing your hands making up stories that MAYBE she had blood on her hand...

Even IF she had blood on her hand it still wouldn't have been a risk because HIV is fragile and is not passed in that manner. I've already told you what the sexual risks are for HIV transmission.

You are very quickly heading towards getting yourself a Time Out for coming back repeatedly for a no risk incident.

There's nothing more to add to what we have already told you. That doesn't seem to satisfy you because you are confusing your fears with facts. You have no basis in HIV science for any concern about this incident. Re-read what we've said previously.

Nick,

Re-read your thread. You've already been given this information.

I'm giving you that time out you've been warned about. Do not attempt to create a new account to get around your time out because if you do, you will be permanently banned.

Nick,

The ONLY time being uncircumcised is going to increase your risk is if you have unprotected anal or vaginal INTERCOURSE. You did not have intercourse, you got a handjob. YOU DID NOT HAVE A RISK regardless of whether or not you're circumcised.

I can't believe you're still fretting about this no risk incident. If you cannot bring yourself to believe us that you had NO RISK, then go test and collect your negative result.

If you insist on continuing to go on and on about your NO RISK handjob, you'll be given a second time out, this one lasting for 56 days.

PLEASE CONSIDER YOURSELF WARNED!!!

Nick,

Are you still worried about your NO RISK handjob you got a year ago? If so, you need to get a grip. You've been told repeatedly that you had NO possibility of acquiring "the infection" from a handjob.

Every worried person thinks "my situation is different." No one has ever been confirmed to have been infected through a handjob. You are not going to make history by being the first.

If you can't let go of this unfounded fear, there's a very simple solution. Get tested and collect the inevitable negative result.

Meantime I am going to give you the 56 Day Time Out which you have been warned about. Don't make the mistake of trying to get around it by creating a new name. We'll spot that right off and you will get permanently banned.

You have no cause for concern about HIV at this point. Period.
