Monoclonal Antibodies-Danish Study

Scientists in Denmark have recently released the results of a small-scale test for a cure for HIV. They acknowledge that a cure is still along way off but they seem to think they have taken a step closer. Using monoclonal antibodies and a mix of experimental and standard HIV ARV medication they think they are on the way to training or preparing the bodies own immune system to control the virus without the use of daily medication. The testing was done on people who had recently been diagnosed in Europe and the UK. It seems to have sparked enough interest to warrant further investment.
