Possible infection?
« on: June 25, 2022, 08:07:42 am »
Hello

This is my first post.
I was really stupid (I think) one night last December 2021. I say think as I was really drunk and had a blackout. Although I do know that I didn't want to do anything to catch HIV that night even at the really drunk stage I am kicking myself and really am worried.

In a pub I went to toilet and finished up and I remember saying to the guy next to me (who was looking over) Sorry nothing's happening down here tonight (due to brewers droop)
Then I don't know because next thing I was thinking I was buttoning up and saying to myself I hope we didn't do anything to get HIV?
Since then I've had these memories I don't know wether they're real or not. Here's what I think may have happened:
I went into a cublicle with a guy and He sat on the toilet and I just started to masturbate as did he but at a distance. As I said I couldn't really get hard but he may have grabbed me and started to masturbate me and rubbed his penis against mine. He may have slid his between my thighs from the front and but not penertrate me I remember thinking as long as he's not near my hole. I also remember having a rash on my lower back near the top of my crack which may have bled (only a small cut which I noticed it bleed a couple of weeks later for the first time and was worried in case it bled that night) but any how I didn't cum and I don't think he did certainly not in but pre cum maybe on me?
Since that night about two weeks later I had minor sniffles for about 6-7days.
Then about 3 and a half months my palms began to itch and warts appeared on them (clear) they came and went and peeling skin. I've had these before but not as intense itching. Then about a week later A red lump appeared on my elbow which I stupidly squeezed and it got infected so I was perscribed antifungal cream and antibiotics. I turned nasty for a day and real itchy as I think I had an allergic reaction to the plaster I put on it. It cleared in about two weeks.
Then my arms and sides started really itching and some folliculitis appeared on my trunk and inner thighs  coming and going.
I had a bad left lower back and leg then tingling in left leg and left hand. And also and itch in center of back which started around three and a half months. This comes and goes. My arms and both hands now tingle on and off especially when walking and sometimes coincide with center back itch. And prickly itching down arms now and then.
I've had really bizarre itching on ankles.
My toe nails have white lines on them.
In April I was diagnosed with advanced gum disease and in May I had my teeth deep cleaned by dentist, lots of pain and blood. They're still not settling and I have noticed  a purple band around gums (LGE?) I am really freaking out!
I have always suffered from sebborheic dermmitis and although this flarred up a bit it didn't go crazy. All the itchiness hasn't shown any real rashes when it's been happening and I have had zaps in legs and hands and feet and muscle twiching.
I am really worried especially about the LGE on gums. Okay I didn't go to dentist for nearly two years and they needed a clean but I've been cleaning and taking care of them now properly since April And the purple line isn't subsiding.
I keep imagining the worst. I have contacted a specialist doctor who I will see next week. And going back to dentist in August. I am just really worried.
Any thoughts. Sorry just lost at the moment.

Many thanks.

It's not an HIV route or concern even if he did cum on you

Most of the issues mentioned have nothing to do with HIV regardless of your HIV status and the rest isn't specific. See your healthcare provider and treat the issues experienced.

Regarding your HIV risk, well you were sufficiently drunk that you can't fully recall what happened, so go get tested for HIV and STIs to know your status.

Here's what you need to know to avoid HIV infection:
Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse correctly and consistently, with no exceptions. Consider talking to your healthcare provider about PrEP as an additional layer of protection against HIV

Keep in mind that some sexual practices described as safe in terms of acquiring HIV still pose a risk for other easier acquired STIs. So please do get tested at least yearly for STIs, including but not limited to HIV, and more frequently if condomless intercourse occurs.

Also, note that it is possible to have an STI and show no signs or symptoms, and the only way of knowing is by testing.

Kind regards

Jim

Thank you Jim.
In regards to testing, I was so sure on that night (afterwards) I hadn't put myself at risk as I didn't feel like I had been penertrated. and if my flashbacks where anything they where just as much as I described. The only reason I'm panicking is I'm experiencing these 'symptoms' of something and building from on that night of What if ... The activities I described are probably the riskiest I took and until I started looking on these forums and your answer I thought those where high risk activities for HIV transmission. I am at a bit more sound of mind about it.
This is difficult to explain as my attempt to explain about not remembering but being sure of not being penertrated is contradicting myself. However I am still going to be tested for HIV and other STi's for this night( I've no other sexual activity with anyone else since)  And work with my healthcare provider.
 Thankyou again.
