Ann,

Thank you for your quick response.  I am getting help and I have been very good with other experiences, but this was just so bad because her hands had what looked like dried blood, I mean they were horrible!  And I am not sure if the gashed and holes and sores on her hands opened up.

But I will take your word for it as your word is golden.

Be well

Ann, just to make sure you are talking about the incident from today, not the other ones, correct?

Chip,

Yes, I am talking about the lady with the odd hands. You were not at risk for hiv infection when she touched you.

If you need a time out to move on from this, that can be arranged. This incident is something you need to talk over with your therapist, not us. You were not at risk for hiv.

HIV is certainly character-building. It's made me see all of the shallow things we cling to, like ego and vanity. Of course, I'd rather have a few more T-cells and a little less character. Randy Shilts

You really think I need a time out?  I haven't written since July and It was a sincere and different situation.

please do not give me a time out.  I do talk to my therapist about it, but she isn't an HIV expert and would think I am being ridiculous and won't address it as she thinks that you can only get HIV from Needles or Unprotected Anal and Vaginal Sex.

I would never write something like, "I had protected sex with a person and I think I have HIV" as I know you can't get it that way.  It was just the blood on blood.

I very much appreciate your help and there is no need to respond to this last post.   You have really helped me today.

Please be well

Chip

Chip,

Your therapist is absolutely correct in her assessment of hiv transmission where you are concerned. You've been coming here long enough to know this by now and this is why yes, I do think you need a time out. We're not getting through to you. Please keep working with your therapist.

I'm giving you that time out. Do not attempt to create a new account to get around your time out because if you do, you will be permanently banned, no questions asked.

OMG, Please tell me you are kidding?

Theres more of a chace of seeing a flying superhero squirrel than for you to get infected by your scenario. Seriously dude, THERE IS NO HUMANLY POSSIBLE IMAGINABLE way that you could of gotten infected by what you just described. I hope you are kidding. I have been to a massage parlor and i can tell you that they are VERY clean and careful when it comes to stuff like that. I mean come on, thats how they earn a living and if they were to not be clean about it and something like that happened , they would be shut down so fast its not even funnny. I mean come on, the girl put a condom on me just for a blowjob. Dude, youre worrying abut something so meaningless. You have a higher risk of getting hit by a bus while chilling in your living room than to get infected the way you are describing

Anonymous,

Just cool your jets there mate.

It's time that you read our Welcome Thread and familiarised yourself with our posting guidelines which state:

Only those Moderators and members who are authorized to answer questions in the Am I Infected? forum are permitted do so. Unauthorized responses may be deleted without permission of the poster. Repeatedly posting replies of this nature may result in a Time Out or permanent ban, at the discretion of the Moderator Team.

You are not authorised to answer questions in this Forum and you should desist immediately. You are in no position to give advice and clearly don't know what you're talking about.

Not only that but your use of the term "clean" when referring to a person's HIV status is extremely offensive. I'm HIV positive and when you use terms like "clean" you imply that I and other positive people are in some way dirty.

I have reported your obnoxious post to the Moderators for review. Do NOT reply to this post.

Matty has already laid it on the line regarding the rules here so I won't go over them again.

Not only was your post obnoxious but highly disrespectful, we do not talk to other members like that.

DO NOT post in the threads here unless it's your own.....Consider this a warning, if you attempt to respond to this you will be given a Time Out.

Thank you for your cooperation.
