Title: First Galanthus (snowdrop) of the year, Happy Weekend everyone!
Post by: Jim Allen on January 10, 2020, 03:23:19 pm
The first "Snowdrop" I've seen this year, I think it's slightly early, perhaps because we have had a very mild 10 days with a high of 14 Celcius (57 Fahrenheit)

Anyhow, wishing you all a happy weekend.  :)

It’s early for the snowdrops. We’ve a few stems of daffodils up a few inches I noticed the other day. Definitely the winters are milder in this country as you’d never see a snowdrop until March years ago.

Indeed, I even saw a daisy this week  :o  All in all, it's been a strangely warm and dry winter aside from the storm today.

Such beautiful flowers, how were they made so artistically and unique.
Btw that first bird looks like those dresses my grandma wore  and wouldn't take off for a month  haha.
The only flowers I ever liked are lillies,Especially tiger lillies and those white ones that look like inverted bells.
