Those posts in the last two days were a bit stressful, people yelling at each other and losing control

since i am unemployed right now, i decided to take on a task of building a simple platform japanese style bed frame.

i am thinking about using:

Wenge, Canary, Red Oak, African Mahogony or Black Walnut.

Which wood should I use?

so far, Wenge is my top choice, but its extremely expensive stuff...

Something that doesn't squeak squeak when you have sex. Nothing more anoying than that, this is why my bed is just a mattress on top of a box spring. I can't stand the "squeak squeak"!!!!!!!

I just reinstalled my window unit a/c all by myself.

I had to fight a cat and an uncooperative window. Seriously... eight thousand pound air conditioner in one hand, cat in the other... that was fun.

It was such a bitch, I was half-expecting it to not work... but it is.

I like to test these things out and have them ready before I actually need them.
