Moving
« on: September 11, 2013, 08:57:56 am »
I am on the verge off moving to a smaller flat. Hopefully 1st week off Oct. Have been sorting this out since end off June . I have lived in my current flat since 1997 and at the weekend two friends helped me clear the basement . I have wanted a smaller flat for 6 years and am excited about the move.

I am also incredibly frustrated as I have to rely on others for so much off the lifting humping and at the moment seem to be like a 14 old not doing his homework cannot get down to it , but that is also part off life now that I am a physical crock.

Wish me luck as I am in the middle off stupid bureaucracy that I will not bore you or me by detailing however in the next 72 hours I should be fixing the moving day.

I have a stash off Valium saved for the closing weeks.

Hi Michael,

Best wishes to you on your move! Enjoy being a 14 year old skipping school. :)
I know it can be frustrating not being able to do more but I'm glad you have friends to help.

Hi Michael,

I didn't know you were anticipating moving.  I'm sure a smaller place will give you less headache (I'm assuming that's why you're moving).  Don't feel bad that you can't do more.  You're doing as you're able and that's what counts.

I know all about bureaucracy, so I understand if it's dealing with problems with government agencies.  You can pm me you know.  I know we live in different countries, but maybe we can bitch to each other. :)

Hey Michael

I think downsizing, as they call it here, is the way to go.

Congratulations on the new flat and I hope you get settled in quickly.

Don't worry about relying on others to do the heavy work. You should just direct the operation.

HUGS,

Mark

After working with a friend today there has been as Mao liked to say

a great leap forward.

However as Mia got 2 walks as well and I after a boring cold temp week felt full off beans today now am going to limp into bed crunching 2 off the little yellow synthetic morphine tablets .

Which is how I will start the morning as supercharged super woman Jane arrives and once she starts army,s run.

I have been very touched by how the guy who will decorate has been , situations often show people have unimagined levels off Kindness.
Over and out bed for michaelhenry Never have bare shelf's looked so beautiful .
Oh and when I have finally moved I intend to jump off the wagon.Till it runs out.

Yes my old place is/will be a new place it already looks like I have just moved in , full of boxes the bedroom stripped for decorating , the garden completely overgrown and negelated, Mitch come to London please on a working holiday are you not yearning to create a city garden ? though no ornaments please , the basement stripped, cleaned/spacious sadly I am totally f===k=d with only energy to look at it all .

Tomorrow I ring the housing worker, keep all things crossed. I want to stay and it would take an age to build up enthusiasm for a move.
