has anyone watched the HBO VICE special on HIV?
« on: August 04, 2016, 06:15:42 pm »
I just watched it on a flight and found it up-lifting. It was not VERY detailed, however, i believe it gave a good overview of the current state of things, and will give the masses (someone like me pre-infection)  a much better take on the disease and where we stand today.

Hi Terry - just so you know, full episodes on HBO via the web are not always watchable in non-US regions

I'd love to but I can't.

No HBO content is available outside the US, and whilst the show has been uploaded to YouTube, it seems to want you to log-on and for some reason I am unable to do that (I'm assuming it is available, although it is classed as 'private video')

If you find a way of watching it that doesn't involve jumping through hoops, let me know :)

Amazon fire stick

It uses an Android OS so you can install Kodi, although it's a bit of a job to get it all working.

Still didn't get time to look at this but will do after my holiday

Yes i figured you meant the AFTV stick. I recently bought a bunch for my family and installed Kodi on them. Pretty straight forward. :-)

Don't like re-opening such an old thread, but for any folk in the UK who may have NowTV (the online Sky TV on demand portal), if you scroll to the 'Vice' TV channel, you can find this particular documentary on there at the moment.

Watched it last night and yes it was certainly good to see a really up-beat documentary on progress made. Well worth the watch.
