Hi All,

Please help me with the answers to my following question.

Recently I had a sexual encounter, where the girl gave me a BBBJ and then we proceeded to have a protected vaginal sex. Later when I saw, there is cut on the tip of the penis and I'm so scared from that point of time.

1) If I got the cut during the BBBJ. Is there a way that HIV can be transmitted.

2) While removing the condom, if the vaginal fluid came in contact with my open cut. Is there a way that HIV can be transmitted.

3) I used the same paper towel to clean my tip of penis. Which has been used to remove the condom. So it must have vaginal fluids, As I used the same paper towel Is there a way that HIV can be transmitted.

Here's what you need to know to avoid HIV infection:
Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, every time, no exceptions. Consider starting PrEP as an additional layer of HIV protection going forward.

Keep in mind that some sexual practices which may be described as ‘safe’ in terms of HIV transmission might still pose a risk for transmission of other STI's, so please do get fully tested regularly and at least yearly for all STI's including but not limited to HIV and test more frequently if unprotected intercourse occurs

Also, note that it is possible to have an STI and show no signs or symptoms and the only way of knowing is by testing.

Thanks for the fast reply.

As the cut is fresh and the vaginal fluids came in contact with it. Is there a no chance for transmission. I read that HIV can be transmitted through vaginal fluids.

Hiya,

Sure if it had been fluids near the cervix and during condomless intercourse. However, that was not the issue you posted.

HIV is fragile, and outside the confines of the human body, the receptors needed to cause infection to corrode leaving it unable to infect. This and a load more reasons is why sexual HIV is only transmitted inside the confines of the body.

Exposure to fluids cuts (not route anyway), head of penis etc when removing the condom afterwards or during cleaning your penis is not an HIV issue.

Hi All,

Recently I indulged in a sexual activity, where I got a BBBJ form the girl and after that I saw a small cut on my head of the penis.

We had a protected intercourse. But before that, I rubbed my penis head against her lips for some time without condom and At one time tip of my penis head got inside her.

Can Hiv transmit through such action, as my penis head had a cut and I rubbed and got inside her for once.

Hiya.

Receiving a blowjob is no HIV risk to you whatsoever, none. Nobody has ever acquired HIV this way and it makes sense since it lacks the conditions needed.

The same can be said about rubbing against her regardless of the fluids. I have covered this with you before and a cut on your penis makes no difference.

at one time tip of my penis head got inside her.

Condomless penetration (intercourse) that's an HIV risk although, as the insertive partner and it being so brief the odds are in your favor so try not to freak out.

You can test for peace of mind if you like at test at 6 weeks post-exposure with a blood-drawn HIV antibodies test, a negative result at that time will rarely ever change. If you really want a definite result test at 3 months post-exposure but it's not really needed with blood-drawn HIV tests.
