Hello guys.Let me first thank you for the good work you are doing,i appreciate it. About 2 months ago i started having protected sex with a CSW. I paid her quite well. After 4  protected encounters, i decided to test her for HIV. We had 2 tests,both alere determine finger prick(rapid antibody only test). We were both negative so we started having unprotected vaginal sex twice. I asked her about her last exposure and she said she always used condoms.She also mentioned a condom breakage about 3 months ago which she tested the guy and he was negative. I am worried coz i can't believe her words. I cant go for testing because it has been only 5 days since the act. Am worried guys. Please advice.

Testing together just means for sure that someone was negative some 3 months ago, fat lot of good that is to you now or in the future. Unprotected intercourse with someone is simply always accepting a HIV risk. It meets all the biological conditions needed for acquiring HIV and unless you keep someone under lock and key 24/7 you have no idea what risks they have had.

Since you had a potential exposure test at 6 weeks post last exposure and again at 3 months post for a conclusive result. Also test for far easier to transmit STI's whilst you are at it.

Here's what you need to know in order to avoid hiv infection:
Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, every time, no exceptions. Consider starting PrEP in the future as an additional layer of protection against HIV

Keep in mind that some sexual practices which may be described as ‘safe’ in terms of HIV transmission might still pose a risk for transmission of other STI's, so please do get fully tested regularly and at least yearly for all STI's including but not limited to HIV and test more frequently if unprotected intercourse occurs

Also note that it is possible to have an STI and show no signs or symptoms and the only way of knowing is by testing.

i have the lady's contact because we know each other for almost 47 days including today and we can go for a test in a clinic. should i consider that?
she said she was a CSW for four years and always used condom and logically speaking,she would have been positive if she had multiple unprotected encounters by now.
 Guys,did anyone else ever been in similar situation? Please comment.

No, you had a risk. You should test at the appropriate time, that is the only way to know your own HIV status.

Now if your last unprotected intercourse event was 47 days ago than test for a result and repeat this at 3 months post exposure

Her claimed sexual history is irrelevant. It only takes once, plenty of unlucky members here in that situation on the other hand I know people who never used a condom and never aquired HIV

It's a risk assessment nobody else is going to comment on this.

It's simple you had a risk, you should test at the appropriate times, her history or her test results mean nothing. Going forward use condoms regardless of someone's claimed sexual history or test results.

Hello guys. First, i thank all the great work you do and how amazing you are.
You have made many people's lives at ease during difficult times.

I've read a bunch of post all over and confussion is always there. I know you will say its not a risk but am just very worried.

I went to a street prostitute on 21st july 2021 and she gave me unprotected bj for about 15 mins or more but my penis never got very hard. Then we proceeded to protected vaginal sex and am sure the condom never slipped from my penis despite not being very hard. I did not cum bcoz of erection problem so i went home.

 I got some flue like symptoms on 2nd august just 13 days after my first encounter. They include sore throat, body aches,headache,painful enlarged tonsils.

Then on 4th august 2021i went back to her and she gave me unprotected bj before protected vaginal sex. I was very hard this time even during the bj. I didnt notice any condom break at all.

Then on 11th august 2021 i went back to her and she did the same.(unprotected bj for about 7_12 min and then protected vaginal)

Then on 17th august the same happened.(unprotected bj and protected vaginal)

On 20th august i bought two self test kits for both of us and i just went to her and said lets get tested out of blue. She tested positive and i was negative. I asked her if she was on meds and she said no. I also asked if she had mouth sores and she said no. Am not sure if she had or not but i never saw any blood or sores on her lips. Her pussy and mouth never smelled bad even the slightest so she was in good hygiene i suppose.

For summary,i had those four unprotected bjs from someone who is 100% hiv+. What do you think of this risk. Let me honestly know.

You received a blowjob, no HIV risk to you whatsoever and had intercourse using condoms, get over it already!

Use condoms for any intercourse and test yearly out of routine for HIV and STI's.
