Hey RWR,

The problem is often a result of temporomandibular joint disorder. Here is a link describing it.

http://www.healthatoz.com/healthatoz/Atoz/common/standard/transform.jsp?requestURI=/healthatoz/Atoz/ency/temporomandibular_joint_disorders.jsp

As for losing face, so to speak, many of us have through lipoatrophy. It seems it comes with the territory.

HUGS,

Mark

Hello RWR,

If this is TMJ which is affecting you, I know how painful it can be. It wasn't just "sore" It was very painful. Someone had brought this subject up a while back and I made a comment here :

http://forums.poz.com/index.php?topic=23804.0

You may want to bring this subject up with your doctor, so he can refer you to A TMJ specialist.
I am not sure if this is the cause of your problem, but all possibilities need to be checked out.

Take care----Ray
