Any chances getting infected?

Hello everyone, I may had two possible exposures.

First one was oral sex for less than 2 sec, without inserting penis into my mouth..just touching it with my tongue. He hadn't finnish but I don't know if he had precum.

I'm like 90% sure that the guy was hiv free

The second one:

I was helping a possible HIV positive buddy hung a picture on the wall, and the nail fell down so I picked it up and gave it to him. He said he didn't cut himself and I think I didn't cut myself too (atleast I didn't feel it or saw blood) So, if he had cutted himself and then I cutted myself too do you think I could get infected?

What makes me worry is that I had a few 'symptoms' like joint ache and diarrhea. Two weeks after the second exposure, I got diarrhea and runny nose

So what do you guys think? am i at risk or I should stop worrying and get on with my life?

HIV is transmitted by unprotected vaginal and/or anal sex, sharing works with other IV drug abusers and from mother to child. You never had a risk of contracting HIV.

Well 2 weeks after the second incident I got diarrhea, joint ache and runny nose, do you think they are not hiv related?

Hello, I have posted again on this forum when I thought I was infected with HIV, and your assurances made me feel better, but now I think I may had another exposure and I need your opinions

I had mutual masturbation with a guy, I masturbated him and he masturbated me. I think he had precum on his fingers but I didn't had any visible cut on my fingers. Also what if he touched his own precum and then touched my penis? Do you think I am at risk?

Once again you are worrying needlessly. As you have been told before, the only confirmed risks for the sexual transmission of HIV are unprotected vaginal and anal intercourse. If you always use condoms for those activities you will be well protected. You could be dripping with someone else's semen from masturbation and it still wouldn't be a risk. HIV is a fragile virus and is not transmitted in that manner.

I guess I should go to a Psychiatrist, I'm worrying 24/7 about HIV although I'm virgin. The only sexual acts I had is mutual masturbation and oral sex for less than 2 seconds.

Becoming sexually active is an exciting time. And it can also raise anxiety as you are finding out. Having some conversations with a professional can be helpful in sorting out your concerns and increasing your ability to safely enjoy your sexuality. We can't help you with that in this setting.

Andy, last question...Do you really think I never contracted HIV through this exposures?

The only person knows about my concerns is my mother and she thinks I'm just paranoid and I never contracted HIV.

Yes, we know you never became infected with hiv through the NO RISK activities you report.

Here's what you need to know in order to avoid hiv infection:

You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for ALL sexually transmitted infections together.

To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with an STI. Sex without a condom lasts only a matter of minutes, but hiv is forever.

Have a look through the condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use condoms with confidence.

ALTHOUGH YOU ABSOLUTELY DO NOT NEED TO TEST OVER THE ACTIVITIES YOU REPORT, anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.

If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results.

Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv.
