Oral and fingering (maybe with sperm)
« on: November 17, 2017, 09:42:28 am »
So my curiosity got the best of me and I had my first encounter last week with a guy. Firstly I gave him a blowjob for about 2-3 minutes and then he ejaculated on his stomach, although there could have been precum entering my mouth of course. We then wiped everything off and he started to blow me. During him performing oral sex on me I licked one of my fingers and inserted it into my anus to massage my prostate until I ejaculated on my stomach. We also kissed a lot, which I’ve read has no risk and his penis was never near my anus. I also don’t have any cuts on my penis and I couldn’t see any on his.

My questions:

1. I sometimes do bleed when I brush my teeth, but my dentist never said that I have a gum disease or bad gums. I didn’t brush my teeth before the ecounter (probably about 10 hours before), but about 30 minutes afterwards I brushed them and I also used mouthwash. Is this or the occassional bleeding going to put me at risk for having contracted HIV? What if there is tooth decay in my mouth that has developed since my last visit to the dentist (about 6 months ago) – could this lead to an infection?

2. I also bit myself on the inner lip while eating a couple hours before the encounter – when I was looking at it my skin was a little bit white at the “bite mark” (it looked like there was a bit of skin hanging from it), but I don’t remember any blood. What if there was and I didn’t notice? Would that be enough to contract HIV? The wound was gone after two days if that helps to assess how big it was.

3. Sometimes during him performing oral on me I performed oral on him again. There is a possibility that there was some cum left that we didn’t clean up completely. (So his penis was still “wet” from his cum.) Could this be enough to infect me?

4. What I’m mostly concered about is me inserting my finger into my anus. I tend to bite my nails as well. My concerns are: Is there a possibility that cum got in one of the “cuts” I have from biting my nails and I got infected by that? And also is it possible that I got infected by putting my finger in my anus? I licked it before with my tounge so maybe somehow precum got on it from my mouth and I then put it in my anus? Or when we cleaned him up somehow a little bit of sperm was left and I had some on my finger but didn’t notice?
I’ve read that the virus can’t survive long outside of the body. It was like 2 mintues after he ejaculated that I inserted my finger, is there a certain time that the virus is still active or when does the virus become inactive?

I’m get a test just for my own peace of mind once the time has passed, but I’d really like to know how much at risk I am. I hope it was somewhat clear as what I’m trying to say since this is not my first language.

Thanks a lot for your help and time!

Hi Steve,

1 & 2.  Giving oral is considered theoretical at best and would require substantial wounds in your mouth, and that was not the case with you.
Your saliva has dozens of proteins and enzymes that damage the virus and render it unable to infect and your mouth is a hostile place for HIV.

3 & 4.  The virus is very fragile and doesn't survive once outside the body and exposed to the environment. Bottom line is nothing you described was risk for infection.

If you are testing for peace of mind expect a negative result because that is what you will receive.

Best,

Wade

Hi Wade,

Thank you a lot for your fast response! I feel a lot better now, I didn't know that the virus is THAT fragile. Just for peace of mind, is there anyone who can confirm what Wade told me?

Steve
