Back in Touch
« on: October 07, 2010, 06:02:46 am »
Hello everyone.

it has been a number off months since i have posted, briefly I was hospitalised in August with a collection off symptoms that have been diagnosed as autonomic neuropathy . . Sadly since May I had been frequently travelling due to my Mothers hospital admissions and had not taken note off how I was deteriorating.

All in all its been a year I will be glad to see the back off.

A good friend died in July, We met 3 years ago, sharing a hospital ward being treated for HIV related cancers.

This year has contained so much illness and death that it has reminded me off pre combo times.

This week I was a participant in a research program into peripheral neuropathy . The two baby doctors where efficient , polite and very, very  curious about pre combo days , I felt like an old soldier telling war stories to the young ones.

Anyway the weather is good this am so I am taking the dog for a walk. Somewhere differant with my camera.

love to all

Theyer

Hi Theyer, I'd wondered where you'd gone and am glad to see you return.  Bad news seems to come in waves, so I hope you're now over your "hump" with it this year :)

Hey Theyer,

it is good to hear from you.

This year has been a trial for you, to be sure. As David said, I hope the worst is behind you now.

HUGS,

Mark

Hey Theyer, it's good to hear from you!  So sorry this year has sucked so much.  Like the others said, I hope it's the end of it for you this year.  Sometimes it seems like things happen all at once, and a break truly is treasured.

Oh Theyer, I'm so sorry about your mom.  Thank goodness for Hospice, aye?  My parents both had them during their last days, and it was such a blessing.  It's a hard thing, to lose a mother, especially if you guys were close.  My mother and I were very, very close and losing her really did me in for awhile.

I'll be thinking of you and your mom.  Just treasure the remaining time.

Theyer,

I'm saddened to hear of all that you've been going through.  Please know that here, you have friends who can give you support.  You've been so kind and helpful to so many of us.  Thank you for all of your support--let us return the graceful act.

Many thanks everybody.

As it turned out we where called for the third time to what was meant to be my Mothers death bed.
Yet again she has amazed family Doctors nurses by her determination to live.
Over the course off 3 days she progressed from unconscious, tortured breathing throw  to sitting up in bed telling me      "  Its bloody hard to die boy  "      as usual her fierce plain assessment comes through.

After sleeping I find myself calm ,privileged to off spent this time with her, I am away now with dear LT friends to a weekend in Norfolk which I love, next week I will return to the hospice.

Again, all off your posts, have meant a great deal to me, thank you
love
